CITYWIDE EXECUTIVE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS provide specialized development and networking opportunities for seasoned executives and emerging leaders within City government. These programs offer participants the unique opportunity to work with and learn from current executive and senior-level City managers; recognized thought leaders and authors; as well as leadership practitioners from academia, government and the private and nonprofit sectors. The talent of both the faculty and program participants distinguish these programs as premier development opportunities in City government. Today, we honor graduates of these highly-competitive and nationally recognized programs: The is designed specifically for the City s new and emerging leaders. The Academy s goal is to expose participants to exceptional management practices and accomplishments in agency innovation. The curriculum assists its participants in developing a fuller understanding of the formal and informal processes that drive City government. The NYC Program is a nine-month fellowship which combines work in Mayoral offices and City agencies with an intensive seminar series that explores current urban issues impacting public policy. Program participants are diverse and come from all over the country to work in New York City. 3
