3 Introduction The Hispanic Bar Association of the District of Columbia (HBA- DC) created this Latino Legal Services Referral Directory to fill a much-needed information gap in the DC Latino community. Each week, the HBA-DC receives numerous telephone calls and s requesting referrals to Spanish-speaking attorneys, non-profit legal service providers, or governmental services. We hope that this Referral Directory is widely disseminated and helps, even a little, to meet the growing and diverse needs of DC s Latino population. Users of this Referral Directory should know that this document is not meant to be exhaustive. The individuals, firms and organizations listed in the Referral Directory were compiled from voluntary submissions by HBA-DC members as well as DC s legal community generally. Thus, it is meant to be one resource for members of the Latino community seeking legal services in the DC metropolitan area. Users of this Referral Directory also must understand that the HBA-DC does not endorse any of the individuals, firms or organizations listed in the Referral Directory. The HBA-DC can only confirm that the individuals licensed to practice in DC are members in good standing of the DC Bar as of the time of the publication of this Referral Directory.
