Clamping unit principle Two small diameter cylinders displace the moving platen and the 4 locking columns to the fully closed position. The chock plate is driven behind the ends of the 4 locking columns and blocks the passage. (Position closed).the clamping cylinder transmits the clamping force to the mould via the chock plate bearing on the four locking columns. Rapid operation is assured by a particularly low oil volume requirement. Rear view of the chock plate Decompression of the clamping cylinder, followed by a minimal retraction stroke, allows the chock plate to disengage. (Position opened). The two cylinders pull the moving platen open to the desired opening stroke.the locking columns are displaced inside the clamping cylinder. Mould height adjustment The clamping cylinder stroke is used as the means for rapid and precise adjustment of mould height.the large cylinder can also be used to increase the initial opening force, for moulds that are difficult to open. M Injection unit Precision and repeatability of the injection parameters are guaranteed by the closed loop regulation of pressures and speeds through a high performance servo-distributor. Efficiency Graphic or numerical representation; DIXIT II is able to adapt itself to everyone s working habits. Security SMART cards with user ID tags determine the access levels. The programming mode for such cards is integrated in the DIXIT II. Liberated core sequence programming DIXIT II responds to your needs for any imaginable core function sequence. Maintenance access to the nozzle and check ring assembly is simplified by the injection unit being mounted on a swivel base. Standard screws ranging from 20 to 25 LD are able to satisfy numerous applications. Specific screw profiles are available according to customer needs. Transfer of parameters The machine settings stored on a 3 1/2 floppy disk can be transferred to any other GM machine. The recalculation of parameters is effected according to the targeted machine characteristics.
