SCHOOLCRAFT COLLEGE Equivalency Table 2012-2013 This equivalency table is intended as a guide for those students who plan to transfer to The University of Michigan-Dearborn. (A companion curriculum guide which outlines distribution and prerequisite requirements for your specific major will support this document in the transfer process. Those guides are available at your community college counseling office or at the UM-Dearborn Admissions Office). In using this equivalency table students should be aware of the following: Exact Equivalent - the exact UM-Dearborn course number will be noted when appropriate Lower Distribution course can be used to meet distribution requirements if appropriate General Credit course will transfer but will not meet distribution requirements course does not transfer Petition course needs to be petitioned for credit NOTE: 1. Applied art, applied music, music theory, speech and theater courses will not fulfill distribution requirements at UM-Dearborn. A maximum of 12 credit hours of transfer coursework in applied art, applied music and/or music theory can be counted toward the minimum 120 credit hours required for graduation. Any course with the grade of C- or below will not be accepted by The University of Michigan-Dearborn. 2.
