ASPHALT PLANT, NOMINAL PRODUCTION OF 160 T/H, IN Equipments are designed to reach the nominal production based in the following standard : - 3% aggregate moisture ; - sea level operation ; - aggregate w/20% minus #8 fine materials, - 9,600 kcal/kg fuel ; - ΔT 135oC. All expenses for start up will be responsibility of the buyer, as fly ticket, meals, transportation, hotel, etc. o Portable plant mounted on frame composed by axles, 10.00x20 tires plus a spare, king pin, mechanical jacks, light and brake system. o Cold feed bins for aggregates, pyramidal type, 6 cu.m total capacity, composed by : o feed bins engineered to hold out the material load and provide a free material flow. Manually adjusted floodgate to set the material flow ; o conveyors with rubber belt sliding on 4 diameter idlers and an adjustable roller to set up the belt stretch/alignment and a driven roller with shaft-mounted reducer/electric motor ; o speed control by frequency inverter for the material flow accuracy ; o automatically vibrating system mounted in two bins. o Slinger conveyor with rubber belt sliding on 4 diameter idlers and an adjustable roller to set up the belt stretch/alignment and a driven roller with shaft-mounted reducer/electric motor. o Drying/mixing unit inclined drum, covered with AISI430 stainless steel between the rings, four driven rollers made of high carbon steel and heat treated coupled directly to the reducer/electric motor. o Burner with fuel spraying by gear pump ( electric motor 1 hp ), compressed air and centrifugal fan. Ignition system and air/fuel flame adjustment controlled from the dashboard. o Gear pump with heating chamber to asphalt injection. o Dust collector system designed to filter out dust from the exhaust stream of aggregate drying process. Recovering system injects dust in mix zone by screw conveyor. The jetpulse baghouse is composed by : o Upper section is the clean air area, where are mounted the jet-pulse cleaning system, service doors, handrails and kick plate ; o Middle section is the compartment with the polyester bags and aluminum cages ; o At down section, dust is stored and recovered to the intermediary silo by a screw conveyor. o Air compressor, screw type. o Exhauster fan with bladed rotor and flow valve. o Plant control system: on the T1000 control system, there is a weighing point on each bin conveyor mounted above the feeder bin, which reads continuously the aggregate flow. The mix produced at the plant are stored by the computer software, with the specific aggregate A/C proportions. After selecting one stored mix, the T1000 system begins weighing each aggregate, checking constantly the A/C and filler proportions, warranting the correct mix and the desired production. To produce a new mix, the operator just select the matched mix name on the computer software. soon after, the T1000 system changes automatically the materials flows, in accordance with the proportions informed to the software. The aggregate flow reading is made by the T1000 processor, which receives the electric signal from the load cells mounted on the bin conveyors and shows it on the screen as t/h, discounting the informed moisture. After the delay time from the weighing points thru the A/C injection, the T1000 system sends the proportional electric signal to the asphalt pump frequency inverters, to warranty the accuracy of the mix. Others important functions available on the T1000 system are : storage of plant production data, allowing integration of production records with database software ; easy access to the production control ; constantly controlling and checking of production ; production reports with raw materials used and the records of production.
