Procedure for degree courses without access restrictions Please click on the following link in order to access to the online application portal: https://go.fhws.de/apply/ 1.1) By clicking on the button apply the action bar you can apply to one of the listed courses of study.

1.2) Please enter your e-mail address on the next step and confirm it a second time. Then click on next. Please make sure that you have submitted a correct e-mail address!

1.3) Please fill in your information on the next step. Then click on next to proceed. 1.4) On the following step you can either choose to save and continue later or save and submit.

1.5) Once the procedure for your application has been successfully finished you will receive an e-mail with your account details for the online application portal. If you seemingly don t receive an e-mail please check your e-mail account, like your spam folder. Now, you are able to log into the online application portal: https://go.fhws.de/apply/login.jsf 2.) Procedure for degree courses with access restrictions Before you are able to apply to a degree course with access restrictions on our online application portal (https://go.fhws.de/apply/) You first have to register to hochschulstart.de (https://dosv.hochschulstart.de/bewerber/). Please click on the following link for further information about the procedure of the application on hochschulstart.de: http://www.hochschulstart.de/dosv 2.1) After successfully registered to hochschulstart.de you will receive an application identification number (BID) and an application authentication number (BAN). With these pieces of information you can log into the online application portal of the University for Applied Science Würzburg-Schweinfurt and apply for a degree course with access restrictions. (https://go.fhws.de/apply/)

2.2) For further steps please follow the instruction on step 1.3) of this tutorial. 3.) Settings for submitted applications Please open the online application portal and use your account details which was send via e-mail to you to log in: https://go.fhws.de/apply/login.jsf

3.1) On the screen below all of your submitted applications are enlisted. You can either edit your application details ( edit application details ) or personal details ( edit personal details ). 3.2) After you have successfully edited your data you then ought to submit your application by clicking on the submit button at the action bar.

3.3) Finally you have to print your application by clicking on the print application button. This is a very important step! Please make sure to put on your signature to your application and turn it in to the department for application at our university.

4.) How to withdraw submitted applications Please log into your account: https://go.fhws.de/apply/login.jsf 4.1 Now, you should be able to see all your applications. Within the action bar you are able to withdraw your applications which have already been submitted, however, if they are not edited by our department for applications, which you also can see at the status bar. 4.2) The status withdrawn shows that your application has been withdrawn.

5.) How to submit withdrawn application(s) Please log into your account: https://go.fhws.de/apply/login.jsf 5.1) Here, you can see withdrawn application(s) (status: withdrawn ). Once again you can submit your withdrawn application(s) within the action bar. 5.2) Please do not forget to print your application and put your signature to it and finally turn it to our department for applications.

6.) Forgot your password? Did not get your account details from the application portal? If you receive the error message password: value is required then you can click on the link lost password to generate a new one (Depicts in the screen below). 6.2) On the next step, please enter your e-mail address which was used for this very account and then click on the button request new password. A new password should be sent to your e-mail address.
