Access to PowerSchool is obtained using a parent created account. If you created an account previously, you will enter your username and password. (If you have forgotten your information, click on Having trouble signing in? and enter the appropriate information). If you need to create an account for the first time, follow the directions below. Parents should go to either: District main website - and click on Parents & Students under Communication click on PowerSchool Info

2 Any School s main website (i.e. - and click on Parent Information under Resources click on PowerSchool. Once in the on the Parent Portal login site: 1. Click the Create Account tab. Then click the Create Account button. Please record the new user name and password that you create. This is how you will login to PowerSchool after the account is set up.

3 2. Complete the appropriate information. The screen below will appear: a. Enter your address. Please note: The address MUST be unique. If Parents/Guardians share the same address, only one parent access account should be created. b. User name must be lower case and contain no apostrophes. c. Password must be a minimum of six characters in length, and have no apostrophes. Student name Parent web id Parent password This is the screen where you will set up access to ALL of your children (grade 6 12). d. Enter the name of each student you want to link. e. The Access ID and Access Password enter your students Parent web id (Access ID) and Parent Password (Access Password). Enter the Access ID and Access Password in upper case

4 letters and then select your relationship (Ex. Father). f. Repeat steps d & e for each of your children. NOTE: Should you enter something incorrectly, when you hit Enter, the edit checks will catch the error; but unfortunately it will also blank out many of the fields you have entered. If this occurs, you will need to re-enter the information in its entirety before the record is created. 3. Click Enter when you have completed the linking of all of your children. 4. You will then receive this message: If Parent/Guardians share the same account, ONLY ONE Parent/Guardian may access the account at a time. After successfully logging in, you will see a series of tabs under the PowerSchool logo, listing the children that are now linked for your family. If you still have questions or have forgotten your student s Parent web ID and Password, please contact your student s school office. What if you forget your login/password information after setting up the account? On the login page, click the Having trouble logging in? link. Your new user name and password are valid and will be used to access the parent portal from this point forward! If you forgot your password: Fill in your User Name and Address Hit Enter

5 The system will authenticate your information and send you a security token with instructions on how to reset your password to the address listed. It is important to note that the security token sent is only good for 30 minutes. If you fail to reset the password in that allotted time, you will need to repeat this process. If you forget your User Name: Click on the Forgot User Name? tab. Enter your Address Hit Enter The system will authenticate your information and send you an listing your user name. **** If you have difficulty creating your account or even if you would just like someone else to do it for youj Please complete the Google Form at the link below and your account will be created and access information will be to you.
