For your Application Form to be considered completed you will have to fill in all the required information fields and upload a colour copy of the following documents: Documents required for application 1. Learning Agreement. 2. Updated Transcript of Records; 3. National Identity Card (EU citizens) or Passport (non-eu citizens or when ID card is not compulsory in an EU country); 4. European Health Insurance Card (EU citizens) and/or evidence of private health insurance cover (optional - EU citizens; obligatory - non-eu citizens); 5. Spanish Language Certificate (at least Level B1 DELE*) or equivalent certificate. Erasmus Co-ordinators or competent authorities of the home university/institution or Language Centre may authenticate the student s ability in Spanish language; 6. One colour photograph (3x4 cm) with a white background or a similar computer file image. 7. Curriculum Vitae; 8. Bachelor s Degree Diploma and/or certification of present registration in Master s course (only applicable to Master s level students). *Level B2 DELE or equivalent certificate is required from students applying for studies in Bachelors degrees in Medicine, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Podiatry and all Masters courses where tuition is in Spanish. Once you have provided us with all necessary documents, duly authorized by the student s Erasmus Co-ordinator and Institutional Co-ordinator, we will send the authorized Learning Agreement, together with the Letter of Acceptance, back to the International/Erasmus Office of the respective home university to be collected there by the student. Important! Non-EU citizens must get their Visas or Residence Permits in their country of residence or home countries before their departure for Spain. Students must be sure about expiry dates, applications for extension deadlines and other relevant dates with the Spanish embassy or consulate. 5

Practical Information UMH doesn t have halls of residence or off-campus student accommodation. Instead there is a vast network of private accommodation near the university. More information about this network can be found on Programa Nido. Accommodation Expenses Health insurance requirements Programa Nido is a public database of private accommodation where owners publish voluntarily their properties so students can check availability near the campus. This on-line tool is public service-minded and aims to provide the university community with useful information in order to find accommodation according to its needs. This card entitles students to any necessary healthcare during a temporary stay in any of the EU member states or in countries of the European Economic Area, at any outpatient department or health centre near their accommodation. Students coming from a non-eu country must bring their own international medical insurance policy to cover their healthcare needs in Spain. Students should also bring an insurance company document detailing the extent of such cover. Students coming from countries that have signed Bilateral Health Agreements with Spain should bring their corresponding documentation with them from their home country and apply to be assigned a Family Doctor at the health centre nearest to their accommodation. 7
