This makes up- sell easier as the price difference is small. Light and Basic are equal in fare rules, but for the Light fare the checked baggage allowance is zero. Light and Value differ not only by the baggage allowance, but by changes & refunds too. Due to customer protection Light is filed as a priate fare under the same pricing (corporate/ account) code HBO01 for all distributors. By the customer protection we mean customer is properly informed about the checked baggage allowance being zero. All the Instructions are based on Amadeus entries.
