Starting from the National Museum of Rural Life, tea / coffee / bacon rolls will be available prior to the 11.00am start with the first car leaving around then followed by the rest at around 1 minute intervals thereafter. There is no official lunch stop however there are many options on the route along with possibly taking your own! Marshalls will be on hand to assist with car parking at the finish back in East Kilbride. Actual driving time to the finish is around 4 hours so there is plenty of time to enjoy a few stops; the only proviso is that prize giving will start around 4:30 to 5:00 pm.
