Challenges in Government IT Public Disclosure Laws All records are subjected to public disclosure and can be requested due to the Freedom of Information Act. Keeping documents and records in a format that is presently readable. Manpower- Public Records Requests take a lot of staff time.
Challenges in Government IT Doing more with less Dwindling budgets have forced IT to become more creative. Requires IT to extend the life of mission critical services. Training budgets have been severely cut cannot stay competitive with newer technology. IT staff has come up with many cost savings over the last few years to help with the budget.
