At the time Johns Manville averaged about 1,500 help-desk requests per month which translated to 300-500 email issues per day and an average of 800-1,000 support request phone calls per month. EMC made the decision to migrate to SAP after evaluating the efficiencies & integration with its business of SAP over Oracle R11 & R12 ( Rather than upgrade to E-Biz R12, we made a strategic decision to replatform to SAP). We are also implementing HANA as a side-car to migrate off Oracle, where SAP runs on today. Migrating to SAP has improved business process efficiencies, streamlined workflows, & improved performance for our user base. Within five months, Rolta implemented an enterprise-wide manufacturing intelligence solution using Rolta OneView and leveraging the SAP ERP application. S&OP, EWM and CRM Breakout 4: U.S. Cellular is Optimizing Their Supply Chain with SAP APO and EIO U.S. Cellular (USCC) transformed its supply chain for their handset and accessory product lines by optimizing their entire processes from demand and inventory, to supply, replenishment planning and allocation across six different channels and 1,500 distribution points. This was achieved by using an integrated SAP APO solution with ECC-IS Retail and SmartOps (EIO) systems. In this session we will discuss how USCC used category/channel-level forecasting in tandem with an intuitive replenishment, allocation, and multi-echelon safety stock plan to optimize their supply chain. Using DP-CBF and SNP-CTM during planning was a perfect combination for Cameron to address all their planning-related challenges. In this session we will discuss how we implemented supply and demand planning at a higher material level to cover most of the manufacturing strategies such as MTS, MTO, ATO and CTO. We ll also outline how we preserved the flexibility needed for users to do a characteristics-based simulation model while driving the component and capacity requirements. S&OP, EWM and CRM Breakout 5: Bringing the Benefits of Extended Warehouse Management to Dr. Pepper Snapple Group This session will review the Dr. Pepper Snapple Group s successful EWM implementation and the subsequent benefits on Operational improvements, reduced Pallet movements and paperless environment, DPSG optimized vehicle loading and unloading, as well as inter-warehouse movement using SAP EWM. With more control over warehouse activities, better task management and workforce planning, productivity is up. The project included EWM template re-design and rollout program for the distribution and manufacturing centers. Implementation covered DPSG's Custom solution for Production process with the design of a seamless repetitive manufacturing process in ECC to EWM, including backflushing of components, and with direct integration into manufacturing systems (production supply and receiving).
