SELF-HELP IN SETTING UP YOUR SERVICE We ve included basic instructions to help get you online. During the activation process, you will receive a number of emails from us that will have information you will require to set up your broadband service. Make sure you store these emails in a safe place for future reference. It is important that you specified an active email account that would not have been affected in the transition from your old email to your new email address your welcome mail contains all the necessary information to get you started. If you have not received the emails that contain your username and password or cannot find them, please contact Telstra Business Technical Support on 13 2999 to have these details re-issued. In most cases, you should be able to set up your service and your mailboxes by yourself, without too much trouble. To assist, a Business Broadband Support Guide is available for download. For set up, you ll need your Username and Password, which we sent you in our configuration advice email. Your email will also include your login details for accessing the CustData service management portal. (See page 4 for details.) MANAGE YOUR USAGE, HELP CONTROL YOUR COSTS CustData is a secure account information and management portal which is available to you at your convenience. Simply log on to start taking advantage of its features: check your monthly usage reports manage your usage threshold alerts view outage reports and log faults manage your contact details conduct tests on your business broadband service use comprehensive service performance reporting tools). CUSTDATA KEEPING AN EYE ON YOUR USAGE CustData is your tool which allows you to check day to day usage on your Telstra Business Broadband connection. To login to CustData www.telstra.net/cgi-bin/custdata/index.pl Username Your Telstra Business Broadband account or service number. Password Temporary password. You ll find these details in the Configuration advice email sent after you ordered your service. The first time you login you ll need to set a permanent password and confirm the email address entered for notices and usage alerts is correct. Initially, the email address you provided when ordering your TBB service will be the one that receives these notifications. Navigate to Account Administration > Message Service > Billing Contact.
