Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team. Special Certifications: Dysphagia, Speech Pathology treatment with trach and ventilator patients. Using video fluoroscopy for diagnostic and treatment of swallowing disorders. Radiographic studies and treatment of swallowing disorders. 2005-2006-Adjunct Faculty, UAB AND JEFFSTATE Developed syllabus and overcall course structure and administered all grades for public speaking. 2007-Present, Assistant Professor and Basic Course Director, Department of Communication Studies, UAB Spring of 08, promoted to Director of the Basic Course. - Responsibilities include staff ing all 17 sections, developing sound pedagogical material, training adjuncts and graduate students, working with other departments to promote the basic course.
