Visiting Masters students will join existing classes and study together with full degree students at the Faculty of Business, Law and Social Sciences. This is a non-credit bearing project; however, upon successful completion students will be awarded with an attendance certificate together with a feedback form summarising their performance at Birmingham City University. Additionally, there will be several cultural visits included in the package. These visits will give students a chance to immerse themselves in the variety of culture throughout the UK. English language requirements: Study Abroad - One Semester Programmes with standard IELTS requirements or equivalent Scores IELTS 5.5 (overall) Route Direct entry to the programme Students with lower scores may be eligible for a 6 weeks pre-sessional English programme. Programmes with higher IELTS requirements or equivalent Scores IELTS 6.0 (overall) Route Direct entry to the programme Students with lower scores may be eligible for a 6 weeks pre-sessional English programme. Study Abroad - Two Semesters The standard English language requirement is IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any one language skill or equivalent. However, some courses may have higher English language requirements, as amended from time to time. More details are available via www.bcu.ac.uk/international/why-study-here/programmes-of-study/english-language There is no compulsory English entry requirement for the, but we recommend that students are proficient in English to a standard equivalent to IELTS 6.0 (no less than 5.5 in any one score) in order to obtain the maximum benefit from their learning experience. Credit transfer Our credit bearing programmes at undergraduate level are usually accredited at 60 BCU credits (one semester programme) and 120 BCU credits (two semester programme). This is normally equivalent to 30 and 60 ECTS respectively.
