Dr (Mrs) Eboro E. Umoren CLN is a Senior Librarian in the University of Uyo and a Certified Librarian of the Librarians Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN). She has NCE, BLS, MLS and Ph.D from COE Uyo, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, University of Ibadan and the University of Uyo respectively. Her research interest is on Records Management, Information Service and Documentation especially cataloging and classification. She has several peer reviewed research papers in many journals in and outside the country Nigeria. She is currently the head of Technical Division of the Library. Dr (Mrs) Ima M. P. Usoro CLN is a Senior Librarian and currently the Head of Reader s Services Division. She is a Certified Librarian. She holds NCE and B.Sc (Ed) from the University of Cross River, MLS and Ph.D from the University of Uyo. She has served as the head of Business Library, and other units such as Processing, Africana, Serials, Circulation and Reference. She received an award as the Best Librarian of the year in 2009. Her research interest is on Library Management, User Education and Library Evaluation Mrs Catherine I. Ogbodo CLN is a Librarian 1 and currently the Sectional Head of Resources Development Division of the University Library. She obtained a B.Sc (Library Science/Zoology) from the University Of Nigeria Nsukka in 1997, Master of Library Science from the University of Uyo in 2002 and a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Nigeria Nsukka in 2010. She is a certified Librarian. She has served as head of various units such as: Government publications, Reference, Acquisition, Circulation and Processing. Her research interests include Security, and preservation of Information sources, Use of audio visual materials in education of children, literacy and childhood education. Dr (Mrs) Udoakobong Oscar Udoh CLN is Librarian 1 and currently the head of Central Readers services Section of the University Library. She is a certified Librarian with the Librarian s Registration Council of Nigeria. She holds a BSc (Biology Ed) from the University of Calabar in 1985, MLS (2003) and Ph.D (2008) all from the University of Uyo. She has received several awards such as Best Teacher Award (1996), Best Subject Teacher (2005), Excellent Award for Human Development (2006), etc. Her research interest is on Biological collections and user Satisfaction, and Personnel Management in Libraries.

Mr Michael Edet Okon CLN is Librarian 1 working with the University Library. He obtained B.Sc Applied Chemistry from the University of Calabar, MLS from the University of Ibadan and is currently a doctoral research student at the University of Uyo. He served as the President Uniuyo Staff Multipurpose Cooperative Society from 2005-2009, and founding Chairman Uniuyo Microfinance Bank Ltd. He has 6 Journal articles, 2 Book chapters and 2 Books to his credit. His research interest is Rural Librarianship and ICT Literacy. His hobbies include research, reading and football. Mrs Kathryn Philip CLN is Librarian 1. She is a certified Librarian and holds a B.A. Communication Arts, from the University of Uyo, M.Sc Pol Sci from the University of Ibadan and MLS from the University of Uyo. She served as head of Special collections unit, Serials and documentation unit, and Reference and Information services unit. She was a liaison librarian faculties of Arts and social sciences, as well as the coordinator Selective Dissemination Information. Her research interest is on Information services and utilization, Literacy promotion in primary schools, Motivation for effective library services, Academic skills and study patterns, etc Dr (Mrs) Mercy E. Ukpanah CLN is an Assistant Librarian working with the Automation Unit of the Library. She is currently the Sectional Head of Electronic Library Services and the Head of Automation Unit. She is a Certified Librarian. She holds Diploma of Library science from the University of Port Harcourt, BLS and MLS from the University of Uyo and Ph.D from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She won the Cross River State Scholarship Award from 1980 to 1982, Best Professional Library staff of the year, 2010 and an award of Excellence from the NLA AKS chapter in 2011. She served as Treasurer NLA Akwa Ibom State chapter, 2008 2014. Her research interest is on application of information technologies in libraries and Digitization of information resources in libraries. Dr (Mrs) Mercy D. Ebong CLN is an Assistant Librarian 11 and currently the Sectional head of Resource Processing in the University Library. She is also the Accreditation desk officer for NUC and had served as the head of Law library. She is a Certified Librarian. She holds a Diploma of Library Science from University of Port Harcourt, B.Sc (Ed) Accounting, Masters of Library and Information Science from the University of Uyo and a Ph.D from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Her research interest includes United Nation Publications, ICTs services, Users Studies, Law & Medical Librarianship, Cataloguing and classification services, Globalization in library services, etc.

Barr (Mrs) Mbuotidem O. Umoh CLN is Librarian 11 and currently the Unit Head of the Law Library. She obtained a Bachelor of Law from the University of Uyo, Barrister at Law from Nigerian Law School Bwari, Abuja and Master of Library Science from the University of Uyo. She is a Certified Librarian and has skills in Data processing. Her research interest is on Legal issues in Information Science and Law Librarianship. Mr Uwem Akpan CLN is an Assistant Librarian and currently the Sectional Head of System Planning and Administration. He is from Uyo Local Govt Area of Akwa Ibom State. He is a Library practitioner and Lecturer with the University of Uyo where he obtained a Masters degree in Library and Information Science. He teaches use of Library and other assigned courses in the department of Educational Technology and Library Science. He has interest in Media Librarianship and Readers services. Uwem Akpan is a Certified Librarian and a member of Nigerian Library Association, and has publications in Learned Journals. He is a good Christian, happily married to Mary and blessed with children. Mr Elijah Peter Etuk CLN is an Assistant Librarian and currently doubles as the Annex Campus Librarian and the Sectional Head in charge of Resource Centres and Campus Library Services of the University Library. He is a certified Librarian with the Librarian s Registration Council of Nigeria and a member of Nigerian Library Association. He holds a Diploma in Library Science from the University of Port Harcourt, BLS (2005) and MLS (2010) all from the University of Uyo. Ms Imaobong Anefiok Etim is an Assistant Librarian with the University Library.

Ms Mary Joshua Iwot CLN is an Assistant Librarian and currently the Sectional head for collection development. She is a Certified Librarian and a member of the Nigeria Library Association. She holds a Diploma in Data Processing from the School of accountancy and Business management Uyo, Diploma in Business administration from International Management and financial Institution Uyo, BLIS from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife and MLS from the University of Uyo. Mr Iwatt Etim Udofia is an Assistant Librarian with the University Library. He holds Diploma of Library Science and Bachelor of Library Science from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria: and Masters of Library and Information studies from the University of Ibadan. He received the Deans award as the Best all-round graduating student, Faculty of Education, ABU Zaria 1988/1999 session. He was also the best Masters student LARIS Dept University of Ibadan- 1997-1998 session. Mrs Rose Ezeibe CLN is an Assistant Librarian and the Unit head of the Faculty of Science. She obtained a BSc from the University of Calabar in 1990, Masters of Library Science from the University of Uyo in 2007 and is currently studying for her PhD in the Institution. She is a Certified Librarian. She has skills in Cataloguing and classification. Her research interest is on the use of information resources and ICT in poverty alleviation. Mrs Abimbola Labake Agboke is an Assistant Librarian and currently the Head of Social Science Resource Centre. She obtained OND and HND in Library Science from Federal Polytechnic Oko, Bachelor of Library Science and Masters of Library Science from the University of Uyo. Her research interest is on Library and Information Management.

Mrs Affiong E. Effiong CLN is an Assistant Librarian an currently the head of Medical Library. She obtained a B.Sc (Microbiology) from the University of Calabar, and Masters of Library Science from the University of Uyo. Her research interest cuts across Technical Services in Libraries, Library Science Education, User studies and Information Science. Ms Okeoma Chinelo Jiagbogu CLN is currently an Assistant Librarian working in the e- resources unit of the Library. She is a Certified Librarian and a member of the Nigerian Library Association (NLA). She obtained a Bachelor of Education in Library Science/English{B.Ed (Lib Sci/English)} in 2004 from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka and a Master of Library and Information Studies (MLIS) in 2008 from the University of Ibadan. Her research interest include: capacity building and professional development of LIS professionals, electronic resources in libraries, Library networking and resource sharing. She is passionate about the application of new technologies in library and information services. Mrs Egbe Adewole-Odeshi CLN is currently an Assistant librarian in the Automation unit of the University of Uyo Library. She has a Masters degree in Information Science from the University of Ibadan. She is also a Certified librarian with the Librarian s Registration Council of Nigeria. Her research interest includes, E-learning, E-resources in libraries, Information seeking behaviour, library Consortium, ICT in Libraries e.t.c. She has some articles in reputable journals and has co-contributed to chapters in books, one of which is an Encyclopedia of Information Science and Technology. She has skills in online cataloging, use of turn-it-in plagiarism detection software and many more. Ms Ufuoma D. Onobrakpor CLN is an Assistant Librarian in the E- resources Unit of the Library. She holds a B.Sc (Ed) in Library Science from Delta State University, Abraka and a Masters in Information Management from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. She is Certified with the Librarian s Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN). Her research interest is on the Management of Newspaper archive and Academic Libraries and Institutional Development.

Mrs Edidiong Eyo CLN is a Graduate Library Assistant and currently the head of Repository Unit of the University Library. She holds a Bachelor of Library and Information Science from the University of Uyo and is studying for her Masters in the same institution. She is a certified Librarian. Her research interest is on Internet use by students, Marketing Institutional Repositories, Library Management, Reading culture development for children and young adults. She has skills in Cataloguing and Digitization of library resources. Staff Profile Ms Christiana Okon Abia CLN is a Graduate Library Assistant and currently the head of Serials Unit. She holds a Bachelor of Library and Information Science from the University of Uyo and is studying for her Masters in the same institution. She is a certified Librarian. Her research interest is on the analysis of cultural information resources in libraries, Cultural information availability in libraries and Institutionalizing academic libraries for sustainable education. Mr Etido Nelson CLN is a Graduate Library Assistant currently working in the Processing Unit of the University Library. He holds a Bachelor of Library and Information Science from the University of Uyo and is studying for his Masters in the same institution. He is a Certified Librarian and a member of the Nigerian Library Association. His research interest is on the availability and Utilization of ICT in Schools as well as Library advocacy and promotion. He has skills in Cataloguing and Indexing. Mr Godswill Udoh Okon is a Graduate Library Assistant in the University of Uyo and is currently the Head of Faculty of Basic Medical Science Resource Centre. Mr Okon is also the Tetfund Desk Officer to the University Library. He holds a Bachelor of Library and Information Science and a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Uyo. He emerged as the best graduating student in library and Information Science in his Bachelor degree programme and has good ICT skills. His research interest is on Digitization of Archives and Records Management.

Ms Ekemini Samuel Effiong CLN is a Graduate Library Assistant currently working in the Law Library in the Annex Campus of the University of Uyo. She holds a Bachelor of Library and Information Science from the University of Uyo and is studying for her Masters in the same institution. She is a Certified Librarian. Her research interest is on the use of Internet. Mr James Michael Udoh is a Chief Library Officer working in the Cataloguing and Classification unit of the Library. He holds a Diploma in Library Science from University of Calabar and Bachelor of Library Science from University of Uyo. He has skills in cataloguing and classification of information resources. Mr Godwin Matthew Nna-Etuk CLN is currently a Chief Library Officer and head of Special Collections Unit of the Library. He holds a DLS from the University of Port Harcourt, B.Sc from Abia State University, Uturu and MLS from University of Uyo. He was awarded Excellence Service Award by the University of Uyo in 2001 and NLA-AKS Award in 2011. His hobbies include Football, Reading and Writing. Mr Dominic Brown Emah is currently a Chief Library Officer in the Cataloguing Unit of the Library. She holds a Diploma of Library and Information Science from the University of Calabar. He was awarded the best staff of the year in 2011. He has skills in cataloguing and classification of information resources. Mrs Akon N. I. Umoh is a Chief Library Officer with the University Library. She obtained Diploma in Library Science in 1992, Bachelor of Library Science and Masters of Library Science in 2005. Mr Justine Johnson is an Assistant Chief Library Officer with the University Library.

Ms Idongesit Anthony Ekanem is a Principal Library Officer 1 and currently the Unit head of the Circulation/Registration Unit of the town campus of the University Library.
