Transactional Reports Created the concept of a Transactional Report to simplify and streamline the process of using Reports to generate business documents A Transactional Report (i.e. one mapping to a single business object like Shipment, Order or Invoice), can be generated and distributed: Directly from a Finder Results screen En mass from a saved query - Mass report generation runs asynchronously, allowing you to monitor reporting progress. From an agent action - The generation of a report can be automated based on lifetime events of the associated business object.

Transactional Reports Provided the ability to automatically generate a Document from a Report and attach it to the Business Object Incorporated additional BIPublisher Capabilities into Reports PDF Watermark Configuration (Text and Image placement) PDF Page Configuration (Page Number) Additional Format and Output Types such as etext (form of RTF for EFT and EDI)

Network Printing Prior to 6.2 printing Reports and Document content could only be done indirectly via the Web Browser 6.2 provides the ability to Configure and Print to Network Printers Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) is used for Network Printing The IPP Network Protocol Supports: Remote Printing Managing Print Jobs Configuring media, orientation, etc. Integrated with Common Unix Printing System (CUPS) implementation of IPP
