A proven track record of beneficiation PACT is a proprietary chemical system that is a proven process for beneficiating fly ash that has been contaminated with powdered activated carbon (PAC). PACT allows marketing of normally disposed fly ash because it effectively offsets the detrimental effects of PAC in concrete applications. PACT can be applied on demand and is a low cost non-hazardous patented chemical application that can be applied directly to fly ash. Since 2008, BMT has successfully treated over 8 million tons of fly ash with this process.
