FL QuickQuote Real Time Rating General Release 02/26/2009
FL QuickQuote Real Time Rating Overview Real Time Rating is a term used when the comparative rates are no longer manufactured or programmed. Instead the rates are returned from the Companies website. The next slide shows the Quick Quote Comparative process. Omni FL Real Time Rating will be released by Quick Quote on Thursday 02/26/2009 at 9:00am. Agents will be prompted to update their software. After the update the agents will need to update the Omni Agent code screen with their IZZY Username and password to return a rate. Agents will receive the same Rating errors displayed in the Omni Website.

Real Time Rating Required fields The Required fields are shown in Red. Information that may not be needed for an Omni Rate may be required for another company selected under RTR Selection. The Comparative will error if the required fields have not been completed. Once completed the Rate request will be sent to the Omni. If the Insured declines use of the Insurance Score, Omni will not return a Rate unless the Insured is Youthful, or unless it is a Non-Owner quote. Both of these scenarios have a set Rating Tier.
Real Time Rating Quote Process The following screen is displayed during the Rating process.
Real Time Rating Quote Process The RTR Service Maps the values to IZZY similar to the process used in Bridge. Prior to creating a new quote the Real Time rating looks to see if the data passed has a quote number. If so, that quote is updated and the previously ordered score is used. If MVR s have been ordered the quote will not be updated and an Error will be returned to the Comparative. If No quote number exists, the database is queried to see if another quote was done for the insured. If found, the same logic is used as if the quote number was passed. Omni (IZZY) Validation and Rating Routines are then used to process the transaction just as if the Agent clicked RATE in IZZY. If an error is encountered, the Error will be returned to the Comparative and No Rates are returned. Rates are returned for both the 12 Month and 6 Month premiums for the default Payment Option. Agents must select the pay plan in IZZY once they JUMP to the Quote. Rates will include all fees currently displayed on the IZZY Quote. These may be combined to support the Comparative Display.

Real Time Rating - Score Omni Indemnity - Insurance Scoring Scores are ordered on each quote when applicable, using the existing Rating routine logic. The Insured information exported by the comparative must contain valid Name and address information. Incomplete information will return a rating error. Omni does not require a Social Security number be entered to Order the insurance score. If present, and invalid the data will be cleared and will not be mapped to IZZY. No error will be returned to support returning a premium vs. an error message.
Real Time Rating - Score How are the Scores determined? Choicepoint sends the scoring details entered to the Credit Bureau. Insured Name (First, Last) Insured Social Security Number Insured Date of birth Insured Address Street, City, State Zip A hit or no hit is determined by the number of matched entries that are found in the Credit Bureau database. This will depend on how the information is reported to the Credit Bureau. Using an SSN will return a more accurate insurance score and return more details than a request sent without a valid SSN.
