SEMCRUDE OWNS AND OPERATES 4,000,000 B ARRELS OF CRUDE STORAGE AT A SINGLE LOCATION IN CUSHING, OKLAHOMA.
Moving our customers forward in the crude oil business is the core of SemCrude and SemCanada Crude. In the United States, SemCrude gathers, transports, stores, markets and distributes crude oil. This portion of our business consists of three primary operations: White Cliffs Pipeline, the Cushing storage facility, and a system of pipelines in Kansas and Oklahoma. In Canada, SemCanada Crude works with customers to gather, store and market crude oil. White Cliffs Pipeline White Cliffs Pipeline is the only pipeline that directly moves crude oil out of the DJ Basin to the Cushing market and ultimately to refiners in the Mid-Continent area. This gives our customers access to alternative markets at the largest crude oil marketplace in the world, giving them the opportunity to maximize their profits. This 526-mile, 12-inch common carrier, crude oil pipeline originates in Platteville, Colorado, northeast of Denver, and terminates at SemCrude s storage facility in Cushing, Oklahoma. In Platteville, White Cliffs Pipeline owns 100,000 barrels of crude oil storage adjacent to SemCrude s 10-bay truck-unloading facility and 20,000 barrels of crude oil storage. The pipeline s initial design capacity is approximately 30,000 barrels of crude oil per day with the ability to expand to 50,000 barrels per day.

We own and operate over 4,000,000 barrels of crude oil storage at the Cushing, Okla. facility. Storage Facility in Cushing, Oklahoma Cushing, Oklahoma, is the designated delivery point for the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) crude oil contracts and the largest crude oil market in the world. To accommodate our customers, SemCrude owns and operates over 4 million barrels of crude oil storage at this single location. We are also in position to build additional tank capacity to meet our customers needs. To move barrels of crude to market more efficiently, we are building a 20-inch pipeline from SemCrude s terminal to the pipeline systems in Cushing. This addition will provide inter connectivity for our customers to all crude oil pipeline systems in Cushing. It is expected to be operational in the fourth quarter of 2009. Kansas and Oklahoma Pipeline Systems Across Kansas and Oklahoma, we have 620 miles of pipelines for transporting crude oil. This network of pipelines connects to individual leases, as well as to several third-party pipelines, refineries and ultimately our storage terminal in Cushing, Oklahoma.

In addition, we have exclusive agreements to market NGL products from several third-party facilities including key refiners, natural gas plants and terminals. We own and operate 11 terminals in seven states. In addition, our network includes access to eight million barrels of storage for NGL products and access to a rail fleet of over 500 cars. We utilize the entire system to give our customers a consistent supply. SemStream Arizona Propane, a wholly-owned subsidiary, keeps the energy moving to over 12,000 residential customers. This network of more than 200 miles of underground pipelines and storage services the central and north central portion of Arizona. Natural gas customers depend on SemCAMS and SemGas to purchase, gather, process and sell natural gas in Canada and the United States respectively. In Canada, SemCAMS owns and operates four processing plants located in the heart of the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin, the home of 80 percent of Canada s sour natural gas production. Three of these facilities are sour natural gas processing plants and one is a sweet gas plant. In addition, we have a vast network of more than 600 miles of natural gas gathering and transportation pipelines. Three of the plants have the ability to load product for transportation by truck and railcar. In the United States, SemGas owns and operates 800 miles of gathering pipelines in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas and processing plants in Sherman, Texas; Nash, Oklahoma and Hopeton, Oklahoma. The Sherman plant is in north-central Texas. It is a refrigerated, lean-oil plant with 22 MMcfd capacity and 400 miles of low-pressure gathering pipeline. In Nash, we have a cryogenic plant with 15 MMcfd capacity and 35 miles of gathering pipeline. Our grassroots plant in Hopeton is a 15 MMcfd refrigeration plant with 20 miles of low-pressure gathering pipeline. In eastern Oklahoma, our Eufaula pipeline system gathers, dehydrates and compresses gas. This system was originally built to serve the coalbed methane development area between the North Canadian and South Canadian Rivers. The pipeline consists of a 12 inch-steel mainline and several miles of 8-inch, 6-inch and 4-inch laterals, for a total of 45 miles.
WE HAVE OVER 600 MILES OF GATHERING AND TRANSPORTATION PIPELINES CONNECTED TO THE WESTERN CANADIAN SEDIMENTARY BASIN, WITH TRUCK AND RAILCAR LOADING CAPABILITIES. IN THE UNITED STATES, WE OWN AND OPERATE over 800 M ILES OF GATHERING PIPELINES IN KANSAS, OKLAHOMA AND TEXAS.
Customers have been relying on our SemLogisitics Milford Haven storage facility since 1998. Taking daily steps to ensure a reliable supply, this facility accounts for almost 25 percent of the United Kingdom s independent storage. Our capacity makes this the largest independent petroleum products storage facility in the United Kingdom, and it is the only one capable of handling crude oil. Located on the west coast of Wales, the facility serves ships transporting into and out of the Middle East, Europe, the east coast of the United States and the west coast of Africa. As the only independent United Kingdom facility that serves the bulk transshipment sector, we have two deep-water jetties that can accommodate vessels of up to 165,000 dead weight tons. With a storage capacity of more than 8.5 million barrels, we have 52 commercial aboveground storage tanks. Approximately onehalf of our storage capacity is multi-product with the flexibility to meet our customers changing demands. This location can store gasoline, gasoline blendstocks, naphtha, jet fuel, gas oil and diesel, as well as crude oil. We continue to invest significant capital in our tank refurbishment program. We also have sufficient land to build additional tanks to meet our growing customers needs.
