Trade Getting Started with Supply Chain for Sellers Technical Support Go to CashPro Online > Support > Help > Contact Us. Introduction This guide provides the information needed to perform the following functions in Trade Pro within CashPro Online: Manage invoices and request discounting. View invoices and credit memos. Work with supply chain reports. View maturing invoices and credit memos. Trade Pro is a web-based trade system which enables your company to manage its supply chain finance transactions. Managing Invoices and Requesting Discounting The following tasks are available for managing invoices and requesting discounts: Task Definition Approve Allows you to approve the invoice for discounting and transmission to Bank of America Merrill Lynch for processing and payment. Assign to Group Allows you to group multiple invoices for discounting instead of requesting discounts for individual invoices. Cancel Allows you to exit the screen without saving changes. Discount Allows you to calculate net proceeds from a proposed discount and assign invoices to a Projection group. Partial Discount Allows you to request discounts for any amount up to full value of the invoice if the buyer Request program allows for partial discount requests. Reject Allows you to reject the discount request. The discount request will require modification prior to approval for transmission to Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Reject to Buyer Allows you to reject the invoice received from the buyer directly back to the buyer without transmitting to Bank of America Merrill Lynch. CashPro Online Getting Started Guide 3
Task (continued) Remove from Group Request Clarification Definition Allows you to remove invoices from a group prior to transmission to Bank of America Merrill Lynch for processing. Allows you to collaborate with the buyer on Trade Pro to receive clarification of invoice and credit memo details. To manage invoices and request discounting, complete the following: 1. Log in to CashPro Online. 2. Click Trade. The Transactions in Process screen displays. 3. Click Supply Chain > Financing. The Invoice Group Financing screen displays. 4. Filter the search criteria using the Status, Currency, Discount Group Number, Buyer Name, # of Invoices, Maturity Date, and Amount fields. 5. Click Filter. The search results display within the table. Note: To display the results in a different order, click and drag the column to the desired location. 6. Complete one of the following: To... Then... Reject a. Select the check box of the desired invoice with a Pending Approval status. b. Click Reject. A confirmation message displays. c. Enter the reason for rejection. d. Click Confirm. The invoice displays with a Modification Required status. Approve a. Select the check box of the desired invoice with a Pending Approval status. b. Click Approve. A confirmation message displays. c. Click Confirm. The invoice is transmitted for processing and payment. Select a. Select the check box of the desired invoice. b. Click Select. The Invoice Group Financing screen displays. c. To... (continued) Select Then... e. Complete one of the following: To... Request Clarification Then... i. Click Request Clarification. ii. Select the desired request from the Request Clarification drop-down menu. iii. Click Confirm. A confirmation message displays, and the request is transmitted to the buyer. Assign to Group Remove from Group Reject to Buyer Note: A confirmed action cannot be canceled. i. Click Assign to Group. ii. Click Confirm. A confirmation message displays, and a Discount Group Number is assigned to the invoice. i. Click Remove from Group. ii. Click Confirm. A confirmation message displays, and the Discount Group Number is removed from the invoice. i. Click Reject to Buyer. ii. Select the reason for rejection from the Reject Reason drop-down menu. iii. Click Confirm. A confirmation message displays, and the invoice is rejected to the buyer. Discount Projection Note: A confirmed action cannot be canceled. i. Click Discount Projection. The Discount Projections screen displays. ii. Complete any of the following: Print the Discount Projection screen. Calculate the net discount at different Discount Dates. Partial Discount Request Cancel Assign the invoice to a group for discounting. i. Click Partial Discount. The Partial Discount Request screen displays. ii. Enter a partial discount request for any desired amount. Click Cancel to exit without saving changes. CashPro Online Getting Started Guide 5
Viewing Invoices and Credit Memos To view invoices and credit memos, complete the following: 1. Log in to CashPro Online. 2. Click Trade. The Transactions in Process screen displays. 3. Click Supply Chain > Invoice/Credit Memo Inquiry. The Invoice/Credit Memo Inquiry screen displays. 4. Filter the search criteria using the Status, Currency, Last Activity, Buyer Name, Type, Invoice Number, Maturity Date, and Amount fields. 5. Click Filter. The results display within the table. Note: To display the results in a different order, click and drag the column to the desired location. 6. Select the option button of the desired Invoice/Credit Memo Number. 7. Click Detail to view the invoice or credit memo. The Credit Memos Applied information displays. Note: To exit the screen, click Cancel. Working with Supply Chain Reports You can view, print, and export supply chain reports. You can also create and save custom reports. To work with supply chain reports, complete the following: 1. Log in to CashPro Online. 2. Click Trade. The Transactions in Process screen displays. 3. Click Reporting > Reports. The Reports screen displays. 4. Select Supply Chain from the Report Type drop-down menu. 5. Click Filter. The selected reports display. 6. Select the desired report. 7. Click View. The selected report displays. 8. Complete one of the following: To... Then... Print a. Click the printer ( ) icon. The Printer screen displays. b. Click OK. Export a. Click the export ( ) icon. The Export Report screen displays. b. Select the desired format in which you wish to export the information. c. Click OK. Save as a custom report a. Select desired report. b. Click Filter. c. Filter the search criteria using the available parameters. d. Select Save as Custom Report. e. Enter the desired report name. f. Click OK. The report is accessible within the Your Custom Reports category. Create, view, and/or print custom data extracts Refer to Exporting Data on CashPro University for more information. Viewing Maturing Invoices and Credit Memos To view maturing invoices and credit memos, complete the following: 1. Log in to CashPro Online. 2. Click Trade. The Transactions in Process screen displays. 3. Click Reporting > Trade Calendar. A calendar displays. 4. Select the desired month from the drop-down menu. 5. Select the desired year from the drop-down menu. 6. Select the desired date from the calendar. A list of invoices or credit memos displays. 7. Click the link of the desired invoice or credit memo.
