International Team Katherine Schapiro, CFA Senior Industry: 1981 Kate is the portfolio manager of the Sentinel International Equity Fund and also serves as a portfolio manager for the Sentinel Conservative Strategies Fund. Since 1981, Kate has managed international and domestic equity portfolios for institutional, mutual fund, and high net worth investors at various firms based in San Francisco and London. Before joining Sentinel in 2005, she was an international equities portfolio manager for Strong Capital Management in San Francisco. Prior to her tenure with Strong, she was managing director for Wells Capital Management, also in San Francisco. Earlier in her career, she held positions at Newport Pacific Management, Thornton Management LTD, and Harris Bretall Sullivan & Smith/Western Asset Management. A graduate of Stanford University, Kate is an active member of the CFA Institute and past president of the CFA Society of San Francisco. She holds the designation of Chartered Andrew Boczek Portfolio Management Andrew Boczek joined Sentinel in 2012 and is a portfolio manager for the Sentinel International Equity Fund. Prior to Sentinel, he was an analyst at global long-short hedge fund managers Legend Capital Management, LLC and Seacliff Capital, LLC. Prior to joining Sentinel, Jason was a portfolio manager with Paradigm Capital Management, where he co-managed the firm s flagship Small Cap and Smid Cap portfolios. In addition to his management responsibilities, Jason built and led Paradigm s equity research team and served as lead analyst for the technology, consumer, and health care sectors over the course of his 12 years with the firm.
