POSITION DESCRIPTION Position Title Senior SharePoint Administrator/Developer Position Number Reports to Head of Solutions Development Functional Auth HRM Auth Region N/A Enterprise role Date Date Function IT Signature Signature Role Purpose This role will be responsible for building a new SharePoint Farm and delivering SharePoint based solutions based on out-of-the box functionality or 3 rd party addons. It is required to contribute extensively to solutions design, end-to-end implementation, system management, on-going development and support. Some coding may be required depending on the requirements. He or she will provide dedicated capabilities in SharePoint based solutions working together with a team of developers, database administrators, business analysts, IT project managers and business SMEs in the implementation of various information sharing, form and workflow, document management, and business intelligence solutions. This role is required to contribute to and implement standards, guidelines and best practices for enterprise SharePoint services. Key Challenges Design, build and implementation of a SharePoint 2013 Farm Impact analysis, migration and decommissioning of SharePoint 2010 Delivery of business solutions in a challenging and evolving work environment Helping to foster a Centre of Excellence for SharePoint applications Establishment of SharePoint services and processes, then evolving into an operational support model Assist in other development areas (eg. 1. SharePoint 2010/2013 Core Platform Implementation Accountabilities Capabilities Installation and configuration of a multi-server SharePoint 2013 farm Migration of current content from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013 Work with vendors, application specialists and DBA to setup and optimise SharePoint databases Design and implementation of sites, structure and application solutions Design and implementation of SharePoint security models Establishment of SharePoint search, document repositories, services and file shares. Establishment of development and implementation processes across environments such as from development to production Implementation of backup and recovery processes for sites and applications Establishment of SharePoint integration services for Enterprise Service Bus and ETL processes Implementation based on agreed standards, guidelines and best practices 1. Demonstrates extensive experience in designing and configuring SharePoint 2013 (and/or SP 2010) farm in a vendor managed infrastructure 2. Demonstrates experience in managing the SharePoint farm to meet operational and project demands 3. Demonstrates experience in migration content from 2010 to 2013 4. Demonstrates experience with using built-in and third party tools for solution development or implementation 5. Demonstrates capabilities to work with outsourced infrastructure vendor and DBA to setup and manage SharePoint platform 6. Demonstrates capabilities to work with various stakeholders (IT, vendors and business) to recommend on system features and constraints 7. Demonstrates experience in working with medium to large enterprise implementation of SharePoint sites and services 8. Demonstrates extensive experience in SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio 9. Demonstrates experience in using Active Directory for SharePoint user integration and security management 10. Demonstrates experience in providing backup services allowing the recovery of fine grain data (e.g. version of a file), loss or corruption of a feature or service, and full disaster recovery 11. Demonstrates experience in implementation best practices and standards for SharePoint 2010 and 2013

Demonstrates experience in rolling out solutions using standard and repeatable deployment process from non-production environments to production 2. Demonstrates experience in the customisation of SharePoint themes and master pages to realise user interface, brand and creative objectives 3. Demonstrates good understanding in UX design, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and JSON 4. Demonstrates experience in packaging of customised Sites & Services for rapid deployment of common business solutions 5. Demonstrates experience in developing customised form and workflow solutions in SharePoint 6. Demonstrates experience in SharePoint Business Connectivity solutions and data exchange solutions 7. Demonstrates experience of using SharePoint as a portal to BI Dashboard and management of user security 8. Demonstrates experience of using SharePoint as a proxy for reference data on behalf of the System of Record 9. Demonstrates experience in implementing Enterprise Search solutions in SharePoint 10. Demonstrates experience in business analysis and solutions design, specifications development and presenting Proof-of-Concept options to stakeholders. 11. Demonstrates experience in creating business solutions incorporating integration with the Microsoft Office Suite 12. Demonstrates proven experience in implementing SharePoint based Document Management solutions 13. Demonstrates hands-on experience in the development (and maintenance) of Web Parts and Web applications 14. Demonstrates experience in working on both waterfall and Agile project methodologies 15. Demonstrates experience in third-party tools and packages available that may provide solutions to business needs and assist with administration 16. Provide training of support staff and power users as and when required.

Provide training to business SMEs, Site Owners and Application Team 1. Demonstrates ability to troubleshoot SharePoint Farm issues when they arise and provide pro-active support 2. Demonstrates ability to monitor and manage SharePoint Farm to provide minimal down time 3. Demonstrates capability to develop disaster recovery solutions 4. Demonstrates capability to define and develop a SLA\OLA 5. Demonstrates capability in the managed release of new functionality in order to ensure service continuity 6. Professional Experience Person Specification Required Minimum 5 years of experience in SharePoint Farm administration, development and implementation Minimum 3 years of experience in SharePoint 2010 and 1 year in SharePoint 2013 Minimum 3 years of experience in Windows PowerShell and STSADM tool 5+ years commercial development experience in C#, ASP.net,.Net 3.5 to 5 SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio 2010/2013 experience.
