Installing Ticket Report Ticket Report is an optional product within the Travelport portfolio. Access to download the software will be provided by the customer s sales representative. Prerequisites MS Windows XP or later. Galileo Desktop version 2. MS windows installer 3.0 or later. MS.NET 2.0 SP1 or later Microsoft Excel 2003 or above. Installation Details Ticket Report is a single file.msi install package and uses a standard windows installation wizard. Ticket Report installs into the sub directories of Galileo desktop. Installation Steps Close Galileo desktop. Run the MSI file and click next to step through the installation process. Restart Galileo desktop. 18 April 2012 Travelport 3
Using Ticket Report Starting Ticket Report Ticket Report can be started by: Clicking on its icon in the toolbar. Getting started Before launching Ticket Report ensure you are signed into Galileo Using the application Once the application has loaded the following screen is shown. Please note: on the first run of this application it will collect data about you PCC and associated PCCs and users, this may take a few minutes to complete. While this process is taking place the Galileo Desktop Status bar will switch between Ready and Please wait 18 April 2012 Travelport 4
Selecting Search Criteria There are a number of search criteria which can be selected to produce a more targeted report. Select PCC It is important to select the required PCC you wish report on from the PCC dropdown list. Date Range The date range has a maximum span and by default this is set to 14 days. The date span is set under the Tools Menu Set Data Span option. The maximum span is 35 days. Ticket Report application is limited to reporting on the last 90 days, with this in mind select the start and end date for the required report. Currency This field can be left blank to report on all currencies or type the three letter code e.g. EUR. Voided Tickets By default the report will not include any tickets that have been voided, however check the Include Voided box if you require these to be included. 18 April 2012 Travelport 5
Search All Search All allows you to search all the PCCs with the set search criteria. To use this feature check the Search All box. Detailed Detailed check box allows to pull additional detail back during the search. Executing the search Once you have selected the required search criteria click the Search button to commence the search. 18 April 2012 Travelport 6
Results Screen Sorting & Filtering The results screen includes a lot of data and can be sorted and filtered upon by clicking the columns heads and arrows next to the desired field. Example, To sort ascending by Number click the highlighted area as shown above; to sort descending click the area a second time. A number of the fields can additionally be filtered upon by selecting the arrow next to the field. Example, to filter on a date within the report click the arrow next to the date column heading and select the required date. Filters can be combined by simply selecting further fields. Note: Colour coding of the results is only available when the results are sorted by ticket number. Removing Filters In the lower right-hand corner of the application a status is displayed whenever there are filters active together with an option to Show all this option clears all filters and displays the full data set once more. 18 April 2012 Travelport 7
Printing To print the results click the Print button or select File and Print from the menu. Understanding the results A number of fields are shown in the results table. Totals A panel at the bottom of the report shows the totals of the main report. Exporting to Excel The report can easily be exported to Microsoft Excel for further analyses by clicking on File Export to and Microsoft Excel. This will open Microsoft Excel with an unsaved copy of the report loaded. Users The report field SON can be resolved back to the users name by selecting Tools Show Users this opens the users dialogue, here you can look up the SON and see the full name as entered when the user was created. 18 April 2012 Travelport 9
Updating PCCs and Users When you add or remove PCCs and or users to your agency it will be necessary to update the stored list used by the Ticket Report application. This is done selecting Tools and Update PCC/User Data 18 April 2012 Travelport 10
