International Accounting and Finance Certificate (IAFC ) International Association of Certified
Obtaining the IAFC (International Accounting and Finance Certificates ) IFRS promoted significant changes in global economies (including more than 120 countries) and introduced a new perspective in the preparation of financial statements. All professionals impacted by the transition to IFRS will have to overcome the new challenges of the profession in an increasingly competitive environment. IAFC was developed for those who are beginning their studies or plan to expand their knowledge about IFRS. Our experience in this area indicates that the complexity of IFRS requires a gradual development plan. The IAFC requires a minimum score of 50% for approval. The test has a total time of 2(two) hours for completion and a total of 50 (fifty) multiple choice questions. IACAFM developed 3 different e-qualification Programs: IAFC First Degree IAFC Specialist (certificates for 6 types of industries and segments) IAFC Advanced IAFC IFRS for Small and Medium Entities The IAFC certificates can be completed in the following languages: Arabic Japanese Chinese Spanish English Portuguese French
Obtaining the IAFC IFRS for Small and Medium Entities (SMEs) On 9 July 2009 the IASB published an International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) designed for use by small and medium-sized entities (SMEs). SMEs are estimated to represent more than 95 per cent of all companies. The standard is a result of a five-year development process with extensive consultation of SMEs worldwide. The aim of IFRS for SMEs is to provide a simplified, self-contained set of accounting principles that are appropriate for smaller, non-listed companies and are based on full International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs), developed primarily for listed companies. By removing choices for accounting treatment, eliminating topics that are not generally relevant to SMEs and simplifying methods for recognition and measurement, the resulting draft standard reduces the volume of accounting guidance applicable to SMEs by more than 85 per cent when compared with the full set of IFRSs. As a result, the IFRS for SMEs are considered to be a self-contained set of accounting standards that would allow investors for the first time to compare SMEs financial performance across international boundaries on a like for like basis. The IACAFM developed the IAFC IFRS for SMEs Certificate which can be completed online and by all professionals, students and accountants which would like to gain a competitive advantage or to consolidate their knowledge about this Standard. The IAFC certificate for Small and Medium Entities (SMEs) can be completed in the following languages: English Portuguese Preparatory materials and study guides issued by IACAFM for this Certificate are also available in English and Portuguese. The IAFC requires a minimum score of 50% for approval. The test is completed only using the IACAFM Platform, has a total time of 2(two) hours for completion and a total of 50 (fifty) multiple choice questions. The IAFC-IFRS for Small and Medium Entities (SMEs)will certainly bring you a competitive advantage in the market
