We are not, however, responsible for lost, stolen or delayed visas. It is entirely up to the Consulate to decide whether to grant or deny visas. Visa and passport processing fees are non-refundable under any circumstances. Airline Tickets The airfares quoted in this document are the lowest available through Red Star Travel for Vladivostok Air (Vladavia) flights between Anchorage and Kamchatka and are subject to seat availability, as well as advance purchase requirement and cancellation and change penalties. There may be higher and less restrictive fares available on the flights if such flexible fares are preferred by the customer, the customer should contact Red Star Travel for a quote. Airline tickets issued at the fares quoted in this document can be canceled up to 1 business day prior to departure with a penalty of 35% of the fare paid. If payment is made by a credit card, there is a 5% credit card surcharge, which is non-refundable. Date change fee is $200 plus any applicable change in fares and taxes. Taxes and fuel surcharges are subject
to change until tickets are issued. Free baggage limit is 2 pieces of checked baggage per passenger (75 lb maximum total) and 1 carry-on (17 lb maximum weight). Airline tickets must be issued within 1 week of making a reservation. Airlines require that the passenger's name on the air ticket be exactly as it appears on their passport. Red Star Travel arranges air as a special service for the passenger and cannot be held responsible for inconvenience or costs incurred by delays, lost luggage, disruption of air service over which it has no control. Air transportation is subject to the terms and conditions of the airline's ticket contract. Requests for seat assignments, special meals and special services may be placed through Red Star Travel. Vladivostok Air does not accept advance seat assignments for the Anchorage Petropavlovsk flights at this time, but plans to do so in the future (tentatively starting in June of 2008). Red Star Travel can place a request for an aisle or a window seat in the passenger s record to be accommodated when advance seat assignments become available. International and domestic air schedules are subject to change at any time. Red Star Travel is not responsible for notifying passengers of flight schedule changes after the air tickets are issued. We recommend that you contact Red Star Travel within 72 hours of departure to reconfirm flight schedules. Liability The suppliers providing transportation, conveyance or accommodations are independent contractors and are not agents or employees of Red Star Travel. All tickets, coupons and receipts issued by Red Star Travel and all arrangements for transport or conveyance or for hotel accommodations are made by Red Star Travel as agent of the suppliers. By utilizing the services of suppliers, you agree that neither Red Star Travel nor any subsidiary or affiliate of Red Star Travel shall be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident or delay incurred by you or those traveling with you in connection with any accommodations, transportation or other services resulting directly or indirectly from any acts or default of the suppliers or from any occurrence or condition beyond the control of Red Star Travel, including defects in vehicles or breakdown in equipment. Nor shall Red Star Travel be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident or delay resulting directly or indirectly from delays, cancellations or changes in flights, itineraries, schedules, strikes, theft, sickness, weather, quarantine or other causes. Red Star Travel is not affiliated with the fishing and hunting tour operators through which you purchased your tour to Kamchatka. All questions and concerns pertaining to the services in Kamchatka should be directed to such operators.
