CAMPUS VISIT- FACILITATION Pre-visit Initiatives: The Institute welcomes and facilitates early Pre-Placement Talks, Presentations, etc. All Job Notifications along with any other related materials provided by the recruiters are displayed on the students notice boards. Students apply against the Recruitment Notifications and their details are provided to the recruiters on an excel sheet. Soft copies of resumes are also forwarded, if so required, through e-mail. During the Campus Visit The Institute s auditorium is well equipped with the audio-visual facilities for presentations. Adequate space is provided for the written tests that are a part of the selection process. Large halls with every convenience are kept ready solely for this purpose. For online tests, computer labs, fully networked and connected to a 20 Mbps network are provided. More than 200 students can take the online test at a time. For stay on campus, arrangements are made, on request, at the Institute s guesthouse that is equipped to provide for every requirement of Institute s guests. The Institute also arranges for Airport / Railway Station pick-up, if required. PLACEMENT NORMS Placement facility is available to all students registered with the Career Development Centre through its registration procedure. Once the placement process is initiated the students may attend the presentations made by different organizations and accordingly make their decision to attend the respective selection process There is no restriction on attending multiple selection processes provided that the timings do not coincide. The student may attend processes for any number of organizations until the first offer is secured. Confirmation of the offer may be by way of the selection list being displayed by the organization or through offer letters issued. Once 85% of the students of a particular branch are placed, a second opportunity may be provided. CDC office takes the responsibility of centrally receiving all offer letters, distribution of the same as well as sending the acceptance letters to the companies. ASSOCIATIONS MUST has entered into several value added associations with several organisations which have resulted in creation of specialized laboratories, introduction of Industry suggested electives, internships as well as scholarships and support towards technical clubs. Some of such associations are with Accenture, Microsoft, Ericsson, Infosys Technologies, IBM, etc.
