WELCOME! We would like to take this opportunity to present the RSM MBA Career Development Centre. Our main focus is to provide services to Full-Time MBA, Executive MBA and other postgraduate, post-experience programmes. Furthermore, we conscientiously spend time building and nurturing relationships to improve the range and quality of our services, ultimately aiming to satisfy the career development needs of our students and alumni. It is a privilege as well as a challenge to be working with such an incredibly diverse and varied group of students, and our past achievements pay testament to our enthusiasm for the job at hand. Our team of professionals utilise various techniques in supporting the students, all of which you can find described throughout this document. RECRUITMENT ACTIVITIES The RSM MBA Career Development Centre aims to meet and exceed the expectations of our students with regards to their future careers. In doing so we serve both students and corporate contacts in order to help them both find a match between candidate and employer. Through the Career Development Centre we offer a range of frequent activities and events: Company Presentations Company Workshops On Campus Interviewing Annual RSM Careers Event Student Workshops Coaching By means of the above we strive to offer opportunities addressing a range of industries and companies (see following page). Furthermore, we collaborate with the MBA Student Association and student clubs in organising additional activities. 4

RECRUITMENT STATISTICS Below is an overview of statistics sourced from those submitted to the BusinessWeek rankings 2012. Compared to last year less students were looking for a job. We suspect the reason being people to sit out the economic recession and instead starting their own businesses, start traveling or other reasons to postpone their search. Also please notice that the percentage of pre-graduation offers significantly higher compared to last year.
