LOCATION and HOW TO GET THERE The Santander Financial City is located in the municipal part of Boadilla Del Monte 18 km from Madrid and 40 km from the International airport of Madrid-Barajas. Inside the City is the Complex The Solaruco", composed of the new Corporate Learning and Knowledge Centre and the delegates Residence. LOCATION This Guide aims to facilitate your arrival and access to the City, as well as to offer you some information of interest related to your stay with us. Coming from the airport by public transport: 1. Metro line 8, located in the Airport Terminals 2 and 4, to Nuevos Ministerios. 2. Metro line 10 to Colonia Jardin. 3. Light Rail, Line 3 Route to Puerta de Boadilla; the nearest stop to Santander Financial City is Cantabria. 1

Coming from Madrid Central Station (Atocha Station and Chamartin Station): Atocha Train Station: 1. Metro, line 1 to Plaza de Castilla. 2. Connection with line 10 to Colonia Jardin. 3. Prado Del Espino (over the bridge) 1.4 - Take the third roundabout towards Santander Group City. 1.5 - Entrance B roundabout. Route 2: 2.1 - Take exit 36 onto the M-40 road, and continue along the M-501. 2.2 - Exit 3 Boadilla Del Monte from the M-501. 2.3 - First roundabout, towards M-40 Madrid (centre). 2.4 Entrance B roundabout. Route 3: 3.1 - Take exit 72 from the M-50 north. Public Transportation To and from Madrid / Boadilla Del Monte (entrance B): Taxi: From Madrid City centre to Boadilla Del Monte the taxi costs around 35/40 EUR. Bus: 574 Bus line (leaves from Aluche, stops at Colonia Jardín, passes by SGC) of the Empresa Municipal de Transportes (EMT) of Boadilla, makes two stops at the SGC (Accesses A and B) both ways: -Towards Madrid: stops at Cantabria Ave. by Accesses A and B of SGC -Towards Boadilla: stops at the same roundabouts at B and A Accesses. TAKE ENTRANCE B!!!! ACCOMMODATION PLEASE HAVE YOUR SANTANDER IDENTITY CARD WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES! Accommodation is free of charge. All lecturers and speakers will stay in Santander City where the Summer School takes place. DEPARTURE FRIDAY: Check-out will need to be done in the morning prior to the workshops. The luggage will be felt in the luggage-room. For those staying for the weekend a list with recommended hotels is included below. For the transfer to Madrid on Friday, there will be a bus organised, leaving Boadilla Del Monte on Friday, 13 July at 15:30. For those going to the airport a bus will be organised at 15:00 hours. SCHEDULE The attendees are kindly asked to attend all the conferences and workshops, including the closing session on Friday. Friday there will be two large buses organised: (1) at 15:00 hours to the International Airport (2) at 15:30 to Madrid City. 2. MEALS Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served at the restaurant of the Residence. For those staying in the hotel breakfast and dinner will be served in the hotel. 3

3. DRESS CODE We kindly ask you to have a business casual dress code (no tie necessary). Jeans and sneakers are not acceptable. 4. Courses For the courses, you do not need to bring any laptops with you. BUT you should/ could bring your own calculators. It would also be advisable for you to make an approximate plan regarding the schedule in which you will attend the parallel workshops. The Conferences are to be attended by all participants. 5. Certificate of Attendance Upon attendance, the participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance at the EFFAS Summer School 2012. 6.
