Chevron Downstream & Chemicals Graduate Development Program A program designed for people like you. Aspire to Lead

San Ramon, California, U.S.A. Aspire to work in an ever-evolving and challenging industry. Who We Hire The Downstream & Chemicals Graduate Development Program seeks to enhance and broaden critical skills and competencies of participants who have the potential to become senior leaders in the Downstream and Chemicals organization or the global Chevron enterprise. Participants gain experience that helps develop strong knowledge of the company and personal growth as they progress toward future leadership roles with Chevron. The program attracts individuals from top-tier universities who are passionate about professional development, and who aspire to work in an ever-evolving and challenging industry. Ideal candidates: y Aspire to become senior-level managers and have the leadership and interpersonal skills to do so. y Are results-driven, strategic thinkers with leadership tendencies and financial acumen. y Possess an ability to develop creative and innovative solutions to complex business issues. y Thrive in team-based, collaborative environments. y Are flexible and geographically mobile enough to move among different assignments. y Have an MBA degree and three to six years of pre-mba work experience. The Graduate Development Program was the very start of my journey with Chevron. It gave me exposure to many different areas of the Downstream & Chemicals business. The knowledge, hands-on experience and mentoring I gained through the various assignments gave me the foundation I needed to take on many different leadership roles over the last 28 years. Dale W. President, Americas Products and Class of 1984 Houston, Texas, U.S.A.

We are seeking individuals who are geographically mobile and willing to relocate for different assignments. What You ll Do Downstream & Chemicals has four profit-and-loss (P&L) functions organized around our natural value chains, or distributive geographic regions: Americas Products, International Products, Lubricants and Oronite. They are supported by two functional groups Manufacturing and Strategy, Planning & Technology which contribute greatly to the profits of the P&L functions. The two-year rotational program is designed to expose you to the entire value chain of Chevron s downstream business from product creation to the consumer at the gas pump. You will gain valuable insight into our business as a whole. The program consists of four rotational assignments that allow you to apply your knowledge and broaden your understanding of our business while enhancing your management and leadership skills. You will rotate among different assignments in the areas shown below. There is no pre-established sequence for your rotations. Rather, the path you follow will grow out of your interests and development areas, as well as Chevron s business needs. Your rotational assignments may include: y Sales y Value Chain Optimization y Strategy Development y Supply Chain y Retail Operations y Brand and Product Management y Franchise Development y Planning and Operations Where You ll Work We look for individuals who are willing to relocate for different assignments within the U.S. or outside the U.S. Based on business needs and your development interests, you will complete the majority of your rotational assignments in the San Francisco Bay Area or in Houston, Texas. Subsequent assignments could be outside the U.S. Pascagoula, Mississippi, U.S.A.

Your Continued Growth While in the program you will have many resources and people to help you succeed. You will receive guidance from dedicated program managers who will help you direct your career path. A senior leader will serve as your mentor throughout the program. While expanding your knowledge of the business, you will also work to develop your competencies and skills that will benefit you throughout the Downstream & Chemicals organization. Performance feedback is an integral component of the program. During each rotation you will: y Begin the new rotation by meeting with the rotation assignment manager to set goals and objectives. y Meet with the rotation manager halfway through the rotation to assess your progress and address any issues. y Conclude the rotation by meeting with the rotation manager to discuss your accomplishments and identify any areas for future development. After the Program The program end is just the beginning of your career at Chevron. After completing the program, you will have the type of knowledge and skills that are in high demand throughout the company. Your future positions will continue to be shaped by your interests, performance and development areas, as well as by Chevron s evolving business needs. Many program members return to groups where they previously had assignments, while others take positions in new areas. Your career path can take many directions the possibilities are limitless. Summer Internship Program To get a preview of what it s like at Chevron, join as a summer intern after your first year of graduate school. As an intern, you ll gain a better understanding of our business and learn more about our people and our culture. Structure Typically, internship assignments are project-oriented. They are challenging and rewarding just like assignments in the full-time program. What to Expect Throughout the summer, you ll have opportunities to interact with senior management, current program members and program alumni. You will tour our facilities, attend presentations about the company and socialize with other Chevron professionals. Interns are often the first to receive offers to join our full-time program. How to Apply You can also look for us on campus or at one of the professional conferences we attend. Take a look at our Recruiting Events schedules to find out when we ll be in your area: http://careers.chevron.com/students/recruiting_events.aspx.

The Graduate Development Program provided an excellent opportunity for me to gain exposure to different parts of the Downstream business in a very short period of time. I appreciated that I was able to work on assignments based on my interests and work on projects that had real business impacts. - Doris L., Marketing Manager and Class of 2008 I love the individualized approach of DS&C Graduate Development Program as it has allowed me to tailor my rotations according to my interests, development needs and professional goals. My rotations have been dynamic, challenging and rewarding while providing broad exposure to various parts of Downstream. Hafiz N., Distribution Analyst and Class of 2012 With every rotation, I get a chance to drive improvement and effect change; my work matters. I go home knowing that my contributions are valued by the organization. Leor W., Chevron Lubricants Warehouse Supervisor and Class of 2012 The ability to rotate and explore different parts of Chevron through the Graduate Development Program provides tremendous insight into different parts of the business, and how the parts come together in the complicated supply chain. The rotational experience also enables you to network and connect with different businesses and leaders to develop a better flavor of the unique challenges and intricacies of the oil and gas business. Billy L., Hawaii VCO Coordinator and Class of 2009 Chevron s Graduate Development Program opens the door to a rewarding and developmental career. The rotational experiences on the program equipped me with the skill set, industry knowledge and functional breadth to be a leader in key roles off the program. If you are committed to delivering results with speed and simplicity, Chevron can offer unlimited career potential in return. Chevron is the place for aspiring leaders. Ryan O., Advisor to the President, Oronite and Class of 2006 The Downstream & Chemicals Graduate Development Program participants are a group of carefully selected, highly talented individuals who we believe will make a difference to Chevron for years to come. Participants are given the opportunity to work in four different and challenging assignments in rapid succession. They roll off the program and hit the ground running with knowledge, skills and enthusiasm. The candidates choose different paths at Chevron, but, without a doubt, they are impressive and they make an impact. Colleen C. President, Lubricants
