Medical Director Our medical director specializes in Internal Medicine. Each resident s care is carefully monitored. We have a comprehensive team of specialists including: neurologists, cardiologists, oncologists and urologists who treat residents on site. Nursing Our nursing staff includes registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nurse assistants. Nursing care is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are able to treat complicated medical conditions, including IV therapy, wound care and pain management. Our nurse to resident ratio is in keeping with the Department of Health guidelines and ensures that you or your loved one will receive the personalized care you expect. Trust

Social Work Upon admission, a Regeis social worker meets and assesses each resident and begins to formulate a discharge plan. In addition to assessing emotional functioning, social workers discuss Advance Directive choices and provide counseling to both residents and families. Through regular consultations, a resident-driven discharge plan is created giving residents the motivation to get better and return home. Our social workers arrange in-facility assessments by home care nurses prior to discharge, which facilitates a safe discharge to the home. They also provide referrals to community resources, as needed. Social workers are an integral part of Regeis Care Center s care plan team. They assist in promoting residents rights, dignity, independence and functioning. Compassion

Rehabilitation Program Regeis short term rehabilitation care benefits residents who require temporary skilled care following their stay in a hospital, after an accident, surgery, or while recovering from illness. We offer comprehensive medical rehabilitation including medical management by our on-site physicians, nursing care and physical, occupational and speech therapies. Our rehabilitation team will design an individualized and restorative rehabilitation program to meet your needs for a safe and timely discharge. The road back home is shorter when you come to Regeis for rehabilitation. Occupational Therapy Occupational Therapists use meaningful, purposeful therapies to help residents re-establish or increase independence in daily living. Areas of treatment include self-care, home management, as well as leisure and communal activities. If required, the home environment is adapted to residents needs and training is provided in the use of adaptive equipment and orthotics, safety in the home, and caregiving. Sensory motor and neuromuscular functioning, as well as visual and cognitiveperceptual components of performance, are enhanced. Excellence

Physical Therapy Our Physical Therapists are licensed and experienced and utilize state of the art equipment. Individualized therapy programs address pain management, work on improving strength, endurance and flexibility, improve the ability to ambulate and heighten safety awareness. Specific treatments include balance training neuromuscular re-education, manual therapy, gait training and aquatic/hydrotherapy. Speech Therapy Residents with communication and swallowing disorders benefit from working with our Speech Therapists. By improving speech patterns and providing instruction in the use of speech assistive devices, therapists enhance the ability to communicate with staff, family, and friends. Our Speech Therapists also perform swallowing/dysphagia assessments and treatments and recommend specific diet choices and feeding strategies. Caring

Our Recreational Therapy staff members have backgrounds in Therapeutic Recreation, Art Therapy and Music Therapy. Our program is designed to promote physical, social, and mental well-being. Diverse religious and spiritual programs are provided and visits from our residents religious communities are welcomed. The wide ranging program of events and activities keeps boredom at bay.

Cuisine you can Enjoy Meals prepared with fresh local products and ingredients make dining at Regeis Care Center a satisfying, nutritious and pleasurable experience. After an evaluation by our in-house registered dietitians to assess individual nutritional needs, food preferences guide menu development. Meals are prepared in our state of the art kitchen and served with attention to culinary detail and presentation. With consideration to ethnic preferences, we prepare dishes from all over the world, providing a little taste of home for our culturally diverse residents. We are always mindful of the therapeutic benefit of a healthy diet. For short term residents, meals are served in our rehabilitation wing s private dining room. Rehabilitation Wing Located on the sixth floor is our state of the art rehabilitation unit which is a lovely hotel-like environment with a welcoming atmosphere. Individual bathroom/shower, flat-screen television, private phone line, a desk and sitting area for guests and ample closet space are standard. Our fully equipped rehabilitation gym is right down the hall from your room. Equipped with the most state of the art equipment available today, the rehabilitation gym provides lovely views as you work towards your goal of complete recovery. Luxury
