s p i d e r A little black spider is crawling slowly and tired on an endless road of dark wood. All of a sudden it holds motionless as if to rest. There is a cold and alien light shining on the little spider, projecting its shadow on to the surface of the table, paradoxically gigantic and monstrous. The fascinating projection of the spider s shadow gave the inspiration for this table; starting off with a shadow, uncatchable and vanishing, in order to achieve the zoomorphic structure. The shadow, ever since slave to the body which it projects, becomes the unquestioned master and creator. mirror polished stainless steel AISI 316 - tempered extra-clear crystal glass dining table: L270 W100 H76cm - seats 8/10 persons coffee table: L135 W50 H38cm limited edition registered copyright: ADI n R.P. 2687

b e r s e r k e r The inspiration came from folding a simple piece of paper; the aim of the project was to reproduce this shape giving it body and resistance without losing the windiness of its curves. The pattern of the cushion recalls a zoomorphic shape, a living organism, animal or plant, parasite or symbiont, hugging the chair tightly, growing on it in contrast to the coldness and hardness of the metal. It feels that, leaving the room for an undefined time, one could at his return find the chair completely overgrown by this parasite organism, taking over the hard metal. Tipping over the chair it turns into a side-table and magazine rack. mirror polished stainless steel AISI 316 - cushion upholstering in genuine leather L50 W56 H82 limited edition registered copyright: ADI n R.P. 2690 pag. 13

m a n g r o v i a Floating trees with unusual and contorted roots which spurt out of the water like spiders crawling on the surface; it was the mangrove forest, silent guardian of the Amazon River, who gave the inspiration for the lamp Mangrovia. The impenetrable roots transform into shiny tubes made from stainless steel, shaped and welded patiently by hand, one by one. mirror polished stainless steel AISI 316 lampshade in pure linen diameter max: 102cm height: 245cm limited edition registered copyright: ADI n R.P. 2801 pag. 17

c o s a n o s t r a We took a revolver, deadly and provocative, put it on display without any taboo, even illuminating it; but at the same time locking it up in a solid block of acrylic glass, visible, fascinating but completely untouchable, useless. The lamp is named after a sadly enough very famous killing machinery: THE COSA NOSTRA. Observing from different angles the reflection creates the sight of one or more revolvers drowning in the acrylic glass: impossible to understand which is the real or the reflected image. For its particularity the object is considered a mix between a provocative sculpture and a scenic light source. acrylic glass - base upholstered in leather source of illumination: LED L25 W25 H27cm limited edition registered copyright: ADI n R.P. 2695

b e M i n e 3 3 bemine 33 comes from the infantile memory of a true story told by one of the designers mother, which still remembers when after the war as a little girl found a never detonated WWII shipping mine resting peacefully on a beach, dangerous and fascinating at the same time. Our aim was to reproduce the sensation she had observing this mysterious object which spreads fear and respect, yet being of a certain beauty; transforming this terrible weapon of war into a source of illumination, an explosion of light. The highly polished stainless steel allows games of reflection on the surface of the sphere, this also appears when the lamp is switched off. mirror polished stainless steel - acrylic glass base source of illumination: nr. 33 halogen 12V/5W - dimmerable diameter: 45cm limited edition registered copyright: ADI n R.P. 2694

s e v e n y e a r s SEVEN YEARS tells the story of countless scenes of war, countless lives lost, beloved houses left behind. The never ending misery of mankind. SEVEN YEARS is also the symbol of the revolt against the merciless judge named mirror. The forever ongoing conflict with our own reflection, following a distorted ideal of beauty, cause and consequence of the secret suffering of many.
