The SWS waterproof cement system The Safeguard SWS Structural Waterproofing System is designed to be both highly effective and simple to apply. SWS Slurry Powder is simply mixed with water and applied to the prepared masonry surface using a block brush or trowel. The applied product forms an extremely strong chemical bond with the masonry, blocking the passage of water, and becoming an integral part of the structure. Safeguard SWS Slurry is complemented by ancillary products to deal with floor/wall junctions, high salt levels and other commonly found situations. 3.1 Sand Cement Render SWS Salt Neutralizers SWS Bond Aid Plus SWS Slurry First Coat SWS Slurry Second Coat SWS Fillet Seal Floor Screed Floor Slab Advantages Withstands high water pressures Easy to apply Suitable for complex and intricate structures Tel: 011 708 3603 No sumps or pumps required

CDM can be covered with plasterboard, dry lining, screed or a floating timber floor. If any free water enters the cavity behind the membrane then a drainage facility, possibly incorporating a sump and pump, will need to be built in. 12mm Plasterboard CDM Brick Plug with Seal Fixing Bracket CDM Clear Membrane Advantages No preparation of contaminated surfaces required Quick, clean and simple to fix Easy to achieve a high standard of decorative finish Helps reduce heat loss Allows concealment of pipes, electrical cables, etc. Exceptionally long-lasting Withstands structural movement and vibration Tel: 011 708 3603
