2 The following programme and schedule are based on BY-LAWS Land Management Plan 1.2.3. Work completed each month and year may vary depending on certain seasonal variations and the availability of materials and labour. The aim will be to control each of these species from all of the HAA. A works programme has been introduced, this programme will be undertaken cooperatively with Point Boston grounds keeper and an NRM officer during the summer months of 2014. All poison baits will be managed under the advice of the NRM officer.

All herbicides will be closely liaised by the NRM officer to provide advice.

4 Monthly works calendar This is an indicative works calendar for the VMP. As many of the tasks are weather and season dependent (especially rainfall and the fire danger season), the calendar is not exact and some works will need to be managed to fit with prevailing conditions. 5 General Maintenance Programme Planning, monitoring and reporting on the management activities will be done (but not limited to) on the following actions. Year & Month Management actions to be completed Notes and Cost August Start control of winter weeds. Bridal creeper, Lincoln weed, grasses etc. Establish control grid map of site for weeds and pest animals management. Work to target highest priority areas, e.g. roadsides and fence lines, high use areas, coastal heathland, old growth mallee, areas adjacent to development precinct etc Signage ordering if needed (to indicate status &/or explain actions) e.g. Conservation Area Keep Out Revegetation Area No Access Fencing to be repaired i.e. location and materials quantities Physical and chemical control perennial and woody weeds infestations e.g. African boxthorn, Olive, Aloe, Prickly pear, Spiny rush (minor infestations), Horehound Assess annual fire management & plan requirements with CFS. Prepare breaks and other annual works September Check for cats and foxes. Assess numbers. Decide on control strategy with NRM rep. (Kerryn McEwan) Winter weeds control to be completed Map of all control areas to be prepared Assess effectiveness of treatment and regrowth of winter weeds (prior to revegetation works) Signage re-installed if needed. October Map rabbit warrens & fox dens (tag in field). Coordinate locations with others working/living on site Feral bees control if needed
