Delivery Format and Prices Webinars Don t have a lot of time? Why not take the course while you are at the office! Hands On! At the beginning of the session, the instructor assigns participants to a virtual break-out room. The instructor demonstrates a concept on a sample database and participants try it out on their own database. The instructor drops into each breakout room to assist and answer questions. Group discussion is encouraged. Group Webinars: Webinars are run regularly. (See Calendar At A Glance on Page 1 for schedule.) Up to 5 companies may attend the webinar. More than one person may attend from each company. Only one computer from each company will be connected to the meeting and assigned to a virtual private break out room during the session. A Jet Reports Certified Trainer will come to your facility and deliver our core courses, Foundation and Advanced Designer, over three consecutive days. Training is done using your database. We do not provide instruction on database table structure other than to briefly give tips on how to find data within a database. Participants should have experience and be comfortable working in Excel. Jet Essentials Advanced Designer for NAV In this advanced course, we expand from the fundamentals of Jet Essentials taught in the Foundation Training course or Report Writing Workshop, or from your experience as a Jet Essentials Designer. With this course, you will learn the techniques to develop more complex, dynamic, and efficient Jet Reports. What You Will Learn Use additional specific Excel techniques and functions that complement Jet Essentials Fine tune the viewer report parameters/filters that look up filter values in the database, show multiple fields, define your own custom filter values Create multi company or multi data source reports Use Limit= as a filter to limit the number of results such as returning the Top X sales or donations Address some common filtering pitfalls such as filtering on blanks, zeroes, special characters, and values using the wildcard (*) Develop filtered data from one table for use as a filter in another table using NL Filter or Link =. This is particularly useful for working with documents where the header table contains certain information (such as the date) that is not found in the lines table and vice versa. It also very useful for complex filtering when unrelated tables are linked by a common table(s). Create arrays using NP Union, Intersect, and Difference for use in analyzing data. For example, NP Difference can be used to find out who are new customers/donors during a specific period of time. Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy Time To Use Purchased Consulting or Report Writing Services This applies to customers who have purchased a block of hours for consulting/report writing services. The customer will be allowed a period of one year from the purchase date to use purchased services. If the customer opts not use the remaining hours of the purchased service within one year of the purchase date, the customer will forfeit the service and will not be eligible for any refund. Confirmation and Travel for Classroom Training Jet Reports will confirm the scheduled classroom training 3 weeks from the class start date. It is recommended that air travel or any accommodations that may incur cancellation fees not be purchased until the time e-mail confirmations are received. No Show Policy If your company is a no show for a training event, your company will forfeit the session. Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy reserves the right to reschedule/cancel training. In the event that Jet Reports Canada has to reschedule/cancel training, Jet Reports Canada will work with the customer to find a suitable time to reschedule training; otherwise 100% of the course fees will be refunded.
