The difference in the work of the KIMLA laser compared to CO2 lasers is particularly noticeable in the case of thin sheets of around 5 mm. Details of metal cutouts from a Linear Fiber laser can be reduced several times by a much higher energy efficiency of up to 30% (versus CO2 laser of only 5%) and a greater concentration of energy resulting from the shorter wavelength light.
