CCTV SYSTEM PRODUCTIVITY KPI An important indicator for CCTV managers is to be able to measure the work output of their CCTV system. The System Productivity KPI provides a ratio of the number of incidents dealt with per operational hour which can be used to indicate your schemes overall performance. CCTV CAMERA OPERATIONAL COST KPI Based on the nationally acknowledged CIPFA model for Local Authority accounting, the indicator measures the average annual operating cost per camera per hour. Intended to analyse the net operating cost it can be used to facilitate improvements in economy and operational efficiency
CCTV EXTERNAL CONTRIBUTION KPI The ability to generate revenue through CCTV schemes is attracting a lot of interest from CCTV managers, especially in the current economic climate. The CCTV External Contribution KPI reveals the level of external contributions in percentage terms. CCTV ALL CONTRIBUTIONS KPI For an overall analysis of the funding of your scheme both internal and external contributions need to be taken into account. This indicator brings together all sources of funding including services provided to other Local Authority departments from which revenues are recovered.
CCTV RECORDED EVIDENCE EFFICIENCY KPI CCTV SYSTEM EFFICIENCY KPI The System Efficiency KPI measures the cost per productive activity. In monetary terms it can be used to assess the value for money aspect of the scheme by suggesting the cost in real terms of dealing with incidents. It is widely recognised that the majority of CCTV schemes record images 24/7 and the Police, amongst other organisations, utilise these resources to review incidents and gather evidence. Fusion-Incident-Select provides two KPI s in relation to recorded evidence. The first measures the total number of RTV s per camera over one year and provides an average annual rate figure. The second shows the annual percentage of RTV s seized for evidence.

FUSION-INCIDENT SELECT NEW ESSENTIALS With the release of SELECT, Fusion-Incident now includes even more of the features and functionality you have been asking for, the NEW essentials. At Meyertech we understand you re only as good as your last game and, even though one-hundred-per cent of Fusion-Incident-Vantage users stated they would recommend it to other organisations our development team have been dedicated to improving and adding new features to its replacement Fusion-Incident-Select.
EASE OF ACCESS Accessibility improvements have been made to the Fusion-Incident-Select user interface. Users can now select the appropriate font size for the display of all text from in Standard, Medium and Large settings. The setting is applied automatically when users log-on. WORD ASSIST The new Word Assist tool is a valuable addition to Fusion-Incident-Select assisting users to quickly and accurately complete the Incident Details section of any incident-log. When using this facility spellings can be checked and word definitions and synonyms provided for any text entered. New words can even be entered into the dictionary. INCIDENT MEDIA EVIDENCE VAULT Any type of media including images, video clips and documents ETC can now be attached to a particular incident-log and saved in the Evidence Vault. All associated media is presented as a list and the user simply selects, for example, the Show Document to display* the document. INCIDENT SEARCH Incident management console search facilities have been enhanced with a quick-set facility allowing managers to select year & month, or week & day number to look at the same period on a regular basis. What used to take twelve mouse clicks to create a search can now be achieved in just two mouse clicks using this powerful new feature. *Requires the associated viewing application to be installed to display the document, video or image.
PRESET FILTERS AND REPORTS MANAGER CLIPBOARD COPY Fusion-Incident-Select now supports the creation of unlimited Preset-Filters. Managers can create and save uniquely named Preset-Filters from within Fusion- Incident-Select-PMCD and SMCD. Reports- Manager allows managers to easily and quickly list their created reports by day, week and month and display the results on-screen. RTVS RECEIPTS Request To View & Seize functionality has been enhanced to allow organisations to input their own Terms & Conditions which will be printed on every receipt produced. The T&C information can be typed-in or copy & pasted from another source. For managers who prefer to create their own reports and documents you can now copy the current window to the Clipboard and paste the contents into, for example, a Word document and, if MS Paint is present Fusion-Incident-Select will automatically open it to allow the user to crop and edit the image. IC POLICE CODES A new useful feature when completing Incident logs is the addition of IC codes. When a user hovers their mouse cursor over the IC label a list of Identity Codes appear to assist with completion of the incident details. IC codes are used on a regular basis by the Police, Street Wardens and PCSO s to describe the apparent ethnicity of a suspect.
GO GREEN, GO PAPERLESS Essential to any CCTV Management Information software applications are the time saving, accuracy and reporting benefits they offer over paper-based systems. Since you said goodbye to your paper based incident-logging system and began to experience the benefits that Fusion-Incident-Vantage provides you can now create incident-logs in real-time, view and edit logs independently or as part of a team, filter searches and create comprehensive management reports. Simply put, your team is working more efficiently than it ever has, and you, as manager, are now used to having all the essential CCTV Management Information at your finger-tips. With Fusion-Incident-Select, Meyertech has changed the game again with the introduction of the world s first CCTV Management Information software to provide KPI financial analysis.
INTEROPERABILTY On its own Fusion-Incident-Select excels, but when it is paired with Fusion-Core Video Management Software (VMS) it transforms your CCTV operations, becoming more dynamic, more effective and more accurate, automatically logging every camera the operator selects throughout the duration of the incident directly into the incident-log. From within the Fusion-Core environment users can create new incident-logs instantly and update the log in real-time using the point-and-click feature and quick text facilities. Now that s Interoperability. EVIDENTLY SIMPLE When it comes to creating and managing evidential material, Fusion-Incident-Select makes the task simple and quick. It starts by creating the incident-log in under 30 seconds, supplement that with a few images from the Gallery and then tag the video clip of the incident. Add to that any supporting documents required, zip, store and email or save to external media Simple! Managing Request to View-Seize (RTVS) requests is also a straightforward operation. Every time a new RTVS is received from external organisations Fusion-Incident-Select creates a new record in relation to the incident. Each record includes full details of the requester and the recordings reviewed and if any evidence is seized Fusion- Incident-Select generates a receipt to accompany the released media. HOW ARE YOU PERFORMING? Basically if you don t measure it you won t know! Key Performance Indicators (KPI s) are an essential tool to measure performance and today play an increasingly important role in the management of public space CCTV systems. Fusion-Incident-Select analyses every element of your CCTV operation, from the number of arrests to the number of RTVS you have received. KPI s provide key system operational metrics allowing you to benchmark your CCTV operation and identify trends at an early stage. Every Indicator can be tweaked in Fusion- Incident-Select enabling any combination of filtered KPI reports to be produced in graphic enriched reports.
PRODUCT INFORMATION A Fusion-Incident-Select system consists of two software modules and Microsoft SQL Server. The first module, FUSION-INCIDENT-SELECT-WS resides on user workstations where users create incident logs in real-time. The second module, FUSION-INCIDENT-SELECT-PMCD or FUSION-INCIDENT-SELECT-SMCD reside on primary and secondary management workstations. The Microsoft SQL Server database would typically reside on a separate server. A Fusion-Incident-Select system can support up to sixteen users and four system managers, one primary manager and up to three secondary managers. Workstations that have FUSION-INCIDENT-SELECT-PMCD or FUSION-INCIDENT-SELECT-SMCD installed are where supervisors and managers review incident reports, search and filter incidents, produce KPI accounts, create trend graphs, generate management reports, seize and issue evidential CCTV media. Fusion-Incident-Select software modules are available as separately licensed applications or system license packs, which come with a number of ready to use licences. If I.T. is not one of your strong points Meyertech can provide a complete Fusion-Incident-Select system for you, out of the box, including hardware with Fusion-Incident-Select and Microsoft SQL Server database software pre-installed, configured and tested.
