Why should we do this? 1. This is a NEW STEM program for leading edge high schools to engage students in another exciting space-related program. 2. Will allow students to learn valuable new skills. 3. Students will be able speak live (via the radio) with their FCC license to other Quest Partner School students to collaborate regularly 4. The total, turnkey program cost includes: Two-day workshop training for ONE adult licensed FCC Technician Class or higher Radio Operator Workshop at Valley Christian Schools on July 23-24, 2015 [Additional adult workshop attendees at $450 each] Access to the online curriculum (lecture PPT notes, assignments & practice tests) for a minimum of five (5) students** and one instructor. Curriculum has easy access online with username and password. This mounting hardware (typically poles and attachment hardware) typically costs less $200. Installation labor Use your own facility staff to do this. Be sure to follow local codes.
