INTRODUCTION The following user guide provides ab overview of the SAP Mobile Services enterprise knowledgebase and explains how to access it. Enterprise Knowledgebase The enterprise knowledgebase integrates with and compliments our existing SAP Mobile Services community - https://community.sapmobileservices.com/ (see below). The primary purpose of the knowledgebase is to provide customers with a self-service tool and a single point of reference to information and documentation. The knowledgebase will include the following types of information: Support documentation: FAQs, troubleshooting documents and error codes Technical Specifications: HTTP, SMPP and SMTP Interface Specifications Maintenance notifications: Details of SAP Mobile Services and operator maintenance notifications Market information: market updates, regulatory notifications, compliance and best practices information Product documentation: User Guides and FAQ Product collateral: Data Sheets, Presentations Glossary: comprehensive glossary listing commonly used mobile acronyms and terminology. SAP Mobile Services Community The Community is a social forum created for telecom evangelists who are interested to know more, exchange ideas and share knowledge on interconnection and engagement services for operators and enterprises such as SMS and data interoperability, roaming, signalling, mobile engagement (research, marketing and loyalty, big data for consumer insights and much more. The community is grouped in to areas of common interest: Informational boards, open for everyone - Welcome, News and Help and Events boards. Anyone can read this section but you must registered to contribute and post comments. Public community boards, open for everyone - All Things Mobile, Enterprise Talk, Operator Talk and Big Data Talk boards. Again anyone can read this section but must register to contribute and post comments. The Mobile Operator Guide - where you can see catch up on the current Mobile Operator Guide, find new content, updates and for registered users you can add your own comments and contributions. ACCESSING THE ENTERPRISE KNOWLEDGEBASE The enterprise knowledgebase integrates with and complements our existing SAP Mobile Services community. The primary purpose of the knowledgebase is to provide customers with a self-service tool and a single point of reference to information and documentation. To access the enterprise knowledgebase: 1. Log into the community: https://community.sapmobileservices.com/ The community landing page displays: 2. Click the Enterprise Services Support banner (highlighted in red above). 4
The enterprise messaging knowledgebase landing page displays: Enterprise Knowledgebase Overview The enterprise knowledgebase contains the following sections: Search the Knowledge Base Maintenance Notifications Allows you to search for information in the knowledgebase. Enter your search criteria in the Search field and click Search. Shows you the three most recent SAP Mobile Services or Operator/SMSC maintenance notifications. Click View All to see a list of all the maintenance notifications in the knowledgebase. 5
Browse Articles by Category Displays all the various categories, topics and types of information in the knowledgebase. Click one of the categories to see a list of all articles related to that topic/category Top TKB Articles Recent TKB Articles Glossary Shows you the five most popular articles in the knowledgebase. Click View All to see a list of all the articles in the knowledgebase. Shows you the five most recently added articles in the knowledgebase. Click View All to see a list of all the articles in the knowledgebase. The Glossary describes commonly used terms and acronyms. Click the letter of the alphabet to list terms starting with that letter CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT PORTAL The Customer Management Portal enables you to create and manage campaign requests for your short codes and to raise support tickets through the Enterprise Messaging Support Ticket tool. A SAP Mobile Services administrator provides you access to the Customer Management Portal.
