All quotations should be submitted via e-mail to lmsiza@csir.co.za. Acknowledgement of submission will be done via e-mail to the submission e-mail address within one working day of the receipt of the submission 2 QUOTATION REQUIREMENTS The CSIR requires the following services to be quoted on; Collections and deliveries from and to all the CSIR offices. Collection and delivery schedule for every Friday. Rotation of back-up tapes Provide storage for LTO4 and LTO5 back-up tapes in an environmentally controlled area. Rotate the tapes accordingly to a weekly and monthly schedule. (as per schedule) Access to media should be available around the clock 365 days a year, in the event of an emergency. The tapes media should be marked with a unique number and sealed inside container, identified by means of a bar-coded label and reflecting the account and container number. 4 PRICING QUOTATION 4.1 Price needs to be provided in South African Rand (excl. VAT), with details on price elements that are subject to escalation and exchange rate fluctuations clearly indicated. 4.2 Price should include additional cost elements such as freight, insurance until acceptance, duty where applicable, etc. 4.3 Payment will be according to the CSIR Payment Terms and Conditions. 5 OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS 5.1 The supplier shall under no circumstances offer, promise or make any gift, payment, loan, reward, inducement, benefit or other advantage, which may be construed as being made to solicit any favour, to any CSIR employee or its representatives. 5.2 Such an act shall constitute a material breach of the Agreement and the CSIR shall be entitled to terminate the Agreement forthwith, without prejudice to any of its rights. 6 No goods and/or services should be delivered to the CSIR without an official CSIR Purchase order.
