Hi- Semicon has a China HQ,manufacturing a vast range of LED fixtures. Automation is assisted with Kulicke and Soffa machines, from USA, Switzerland and Singapore. The LEDs are Bridgelux and Cree, both HQ USA. The Power Supply is Meanwell, from HQ Taiwan. The Heat transfer unit is Thermacore, HQ in Lancaster USA. The Reflector is Hi Semicon We only import for Australian conditions and applications in our industrial target market. Hi-Semicon Australia products carry the Safety certified RCM logo. Regulatory Compliance Mark. The Hi-Semicon Australia parent Investor is Ace Gutters Pty Ltd. Est. 1953. This offers Hi-Semicon Australia many resources for testing and adaptation of fixtures to suit requirements. Good stock of mainline items. (150w HB, 120w HB, Tubes Downlights) Access to own Freight transport along the east coast. FIS to Victoria. Well invested. Australian culture and service. LOW BAY RETRO FITTED 1. High brightness 100lm/w. 2. 50 000hr LED lifespan. 3. Adjustable beam angle. 120w or 160w LED. 2
150W DIMMABLE OPTION 150W LED DIMENSION, REF 45. 4 year warranty for LED High bays with advantage of liquid phase change heat transfer and replaceable LED array. The liquid phase change cooling in our High bays is the silent achiever ensuring an advantage in Australian conditions for longer life and better light. It keeps the junction temperature below 65 deg C. Fixture is Ambient rated to 70 deg C. Hi Semicon s VEET model offers UPFRONT discounts when applicable to energy saving schemes, within Victoria. (Also the Federal scheme through CTIP) when replacing against other inefficient sources. No delayed uncertainty or risk as with REBATE. 3
HEAT SINK AND REPLACEABLE LED ARRAY LIQUID PHASE CHANGE COOLING The Life of LED s is beyond 100,000 hours like some Induction claims but is that lux useful? The life of our LED High bay is 50,000 hours based on maintained depreciated level above 70% (L70) at greater than 50,000 hours of operation. Refer to LM80 reported TM-21 L70 lifetime, at temperature. Simply replace the LED array after 50,000 hours to regain initial lux. 4
Bridgelux projects that its family of LED Array products will deliver, on average, greater than 70% lumen maintenance after 50,000 hours of operation at the rated forward test current. This performance assumes constant current operation with case temperature maintained at or below 70 C. 5

The HID lamps in market are about 15000 hours, maybe 20,000 hours if best quality. This is tested outside of any fixture, when half of them have failed. ( 50% rated life on spec) If metal halide maintained depreciation is 55% at 15000 hours, less 15% if horizontal. This means they lose near half Light at same time that half have failed. Tests have shown an average 400w System uses 0.475Kw when including Ballast and PF. (varies from 0.450Kw to 0.485Kw for System. ) Determined Wattage for LED option will depend on factors such as mounting heights, spread and required lux levels, dependant to task. GENERAL GUIDE to replace 400w MH at design lux levels is as below. The 70w and 100w High bay for Task or Commercial lighting. The 120W LED replaces 400w HID at 4-6m. The 150w LED replaces 400w HID at 7-9m. 180W LED replaces at 10m or 200w LED at 12m plus. 7
Design was done effectively as NEW. To relate to indicative End of Life Lux levels multiply the Luxat any point by 0.7. Our LED is about L70 after more than 50,000 hours, or to relate to Design stage End of life of a MH multiply by about 0.93. ie.same time line depreciated MH is 15,000 hours thus a third of LEDs 20% loss at 50,000 hours. Designs are usually done at End of Life for Metal halide where they have an LM55 indicative of a NEW MV 400. Generic 400w MH at LLF1 (new) 8
