Anybody can put a team together to represent your ward, department, hospital or university. You ll need plenty of cunning, brain-power and some basic physical fitness, a sense of humour is essential. YOUR TEAM of 5 Young or older, there s something for everybody. The average age of the last regional winning team was 45 yrs old. You ll need five team members and a spare person in reserve in case somebody drops out at the last minute. You ll need to be medically fit enough to undertake moderate exercise, you can do as many or as few tasks as you want. HOSPITAL CHALLENGE is a unique opportunity for individuals to bond and develop as a team while acting as ambassadors for your department and demonstrating to everybody just how good a team you really are. Clothing and Equipment What to bring with you. The list below is suggested for your own comfort and or safety. Pack light Robust footwear that protects against ankle injury while walking over rough ground, jumping or climbing is advised. Loose fitting clothing or tracksuit suitable for climbing, stretching and bending. Walking type socks. Water proof clothing should the weather become inclement. A small day-sack / rucksack style sports bag. Pen or pencil and note pad per team. Fee. We request a small donation of 10 per head toward the event costs, which include Prizes, the BBQ and T Shirts. NORTH WEST HOSPITAL CHALLENGE 8th June 2013 Registration 0930 1000 hrs Briefing 1000 1015 hrs Day Event Timings 1030-1700 hrs Registration will take place at the Staff Restaurant Aintree University Hospital. Welcome address and briefing to all competitors including Health and Safety brief. All competitors must be at their start locations by 1030 hrs. A packed lunch and drinks will be provided on-the-go. The final event will take place at the main arena ay the front of Aintree University Hospital at 1700 hrs, where soft drinks and a BBQ will also be served while the results are being finalised.
