The selected term is going to be the instructional designer because its commonly and internationally accepted. In some scenarios, the instructional designer is also the responsible of the ergonomic and usability issues. The usability expert could be considered a part of previous provided roles; as the ergonomics specialist, but it has been selected because of the student centered perspective, in other words, how end users are going to use the materials.
