It covers navigating through the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA), accessing the PeopleBook online help, interpreting PeopleSoft tables, and using Process Scheduler as a reporting tool. The Human Resources part of the course focuses on the flexibility that PeopleSoft HRMS has to offer, and provides clients with a solid foundation on which to base their implementation decisions. This course covers core information required to implement the HRMS system. Through examples and activities, participants learn how to set up human resource system foundation tables, how to hire workers, and maintain employment history. The Base Benefits part of the course teaches covers set up and teaches you to manage a variety of different benefits plans, such as health plans, domestic partner plans, life insurance plans, disability plans, savings and pension plans, leave plans, and flexible spending accounts. Learn how to set up payroll deductions for your benefits plans, including determining the tax effects of a deduction. Get experience enrolling employees, dependents, and beneficiaries in plans, and see how to manage track all the relevant information for a person's enrollment. Discover how to set up deduction calculations and confirm them online and process leave accruals. This course will cover material from the Introduction to PS for HRMS, Human Resources, and Base Benefits courses.
