Overview There are no easy answers on how to reduce costs in workers compensation but that does not mean the discussion is futile. Our intrepid presenters suggest new ways of thinking about this perennial challenge: reconsidering job analyses and ergonomic assessments, improving communication across the several generations at work, using a vigorous behavior-based safety process, to name a few promising avenues. About the Speakers Elizabeth Bailey, vice president, workers compensation & safety at Waffle House oversees a workers compensation program which encompasses over 1,400 restaurants in 25 states. A Certified Workers' Compensation Professional, she is a graduate of the University of Mississippi. Jennifer Morris Jones, a partner in Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog s Raleigh office, is a graduate of Salem College and Campbell University. She is included in The Best Lawyers in America 2016 for Workers Compensation- Employers, and in the 2014 and 2015 North Carolina Rising Stars for Workers Compensation. Paul Colman, principal consultant at Rimkus, graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
