BLUE SKY RESEARCH The SpectraTec II, two wavelength laser module is a highly integrated system comprised of two lasers, individual driving and temperature control electronics, wavelength combining, and an optional collimator on the end of the fiber pigtail The SpectraTec II can be operated in two modes; manual or external control mode. In manual mode each laser s power is controlled via trim pots and switches. In external mode, the lasers are operated via electronic signals through an interface cable. A Fiber Feedback Collimator provides precision beam shaping, spectral compensation and power feedback to the control circuits. Power stability is < 0.5% under normal operating conditions. Custom configurations are available and include; various power and discrete wavelength options ranging from 405nm to 980nm.
