upload it to your own domain in this case adwords for sure will not slap you and you get cheaper clicks It is very important to register a domain name similar to your ad text. If you try to use a domain name that has nothing to do with solar energy 99% of the time you not get any traffic from adwords. For example: music2011.com will not work! The most important thing of the whole idea is to display your ad on very specific websites only. If you just create an ad and buy traffic from the entire adwords network you will not make any profit. I buy traffic from news sites and green sites only. 1-2 websites per campaign. I achieved the best results with bbc.co.uk (huge cheap traffic up to 2000 clicks a day). The secret of bbc.co.uk is that it has less competition than the US news websites like CNN or reuters. That means more traffic at a cheaper price and you will still be getting US traffic from the bbc.co.uk website. 7

Here is an example of what you can get from such a campaign: Lets say you are lucky and your bbc.co.uk campaign starts getting traffic ( usually 12-24 hours after you have created it) 1000 clicks at 0.30 cents = $300 (you have to pay adwords!) 1000 clicks will generate around 30 sales at $33 each = $990 On average I always get this ratio. 9

Just don t be afraid and give it a try. From a website like BBC you can get 2000-3000 clicks a day ( this is what I was getting) 3000 clicks x 30 cents = $900 ( paid to adwords per day ) 3000 clicks on average generate 90 sales = almost $3000 $2100 is a pure profit! The Motherearthnews website is brilliant! It s not as big as BBC of course, but you can expect 200 clicks a day at around 46 cents each. The conversion ratio is outstanding on average you get 60 sales from 1000 clicks! Try it! It s hard to believe, but it works. Once again the most important thing is to create adwords campaigns with specific placements. Only 1-2 websites per campaign. I usually work with 2-3 campaigns at the same time. Do not create more than that because adwords may ban you for that. Other placements that I have tried and had brilliant sales: CNN Reuters Accuweather marketwatch Weather related big websites convert extremely well too, because weather is somehow related to solar energy. All of the websites above display adwords ads, make sure that you try them first. So, as you can see it is a fully automated push a button business. You will need only 1-2 hours to create few campaigns. When ever you want $100 or more ( depends on your budget) - just push a button on adwords UNPAUSE your campaign!
