Profound Vibration Monitoring Profound vibra Series VIBRA VIBRA-SBR VIBRA +

VIBRA-series: Measuring Vibrations With a Profound VIBRA system, vibrations that are caused by traffic, pile driving or demolition work can be monitored continually and accurately. By recording the vibrations you can assess the risk of damage to buildings and sensitive equipment as well as the nuisance to people in an objective maer in accordance with the applicable guidelines. With a Profound VIBRA system, vibrations that are caused by traffic, pile driving or demolition work can be monitored continually and accurately. By recording the vibrations you can assess the risk of damage to buildings and sensitive equipment as well as the nuisance to people in an objective maer in accordance with the applicable guidelines. Advanced During each time interval the VIBRA measures and records both the maximum vibration levels and the vibration frequencies in x-, y- and z-direction. In addition every hour a full measuring signal of the highest peak value(s) is recorded. The VIBRA s digital signal processing guarantees measurements of a high quality and accuracy. The Profound VIBRA-series comprises the VIBRA, VIBRA-sbr and the VIBRA +. The top of the line VIBRA + has several special features, including an integrated GPRS/internet option, PC trace recorder, displacement measurements and automatic leveland calibration checks. The various characteristics are summarized in the technical specifications. Measurements according to standards Depending on the chosen version, the system meets national and international standards, such as SBR 2002, DIN 4150 and DIN 45669. Especially the measurement and assessment guidelines of DIN 4150 form the basis for the interpretation of the vibration impact. With the VIBRA, VIBRA-sbr or VIBRA+ vibrations are measured reliably in accordance with these guidelines. The VIBRA+ also determines the dominant frequency in accordance with the advanced FFT-method. The measuring values for vibrations in buildings as well as for the effects on persons are shown simultaneously on the display. The system is easily portable and battery-operated which allows for up to 4 weeks of unmaed and continuous operation. The remaining battery capacity and available memory are permanently shown on the display. Simple and efficient Performing a measurement is very simple due to the ergonomic operation: attach the 3-dimensional geophone to the structure to be monitored, program the system and start measuring. While measuring, all relevant information appears on the VIBRA s display, such as time, time interval and the vibration values including frequency in all 3 directions. You can also immediately check the peak values. Before starting the measurement, an alarm level can be entered and an external alarm system can be coected. If programmed the VIBRA + model sends alarm messages via GPRS. With the PC Remote Control software you can log in remotely to your VIBRA system, if the system is coected via USB to a PC in the field. Thus you can program any VIBRA model remotely change settings and download data.

With a Profound VIBRA system you have a unique and reliable instrument to measure vibration continuously and accurately.

Vibra Geophone & Geophone cone The Profound geophone and the geophone cone for the VIBRA range have been designed for high-performance vibration monitoring. Geophone The ball joint in combination with the wall bracket facilitates precise orientation of the geophone in the correct x-, y- or z-direction, as well as enabling fine tuning of the vial. Geophone Cone The Geophone cone measures dynamic soil parameters. Installation of the geophone cone with standard cone penetration rods can be done by pushing it to the desired depth. When the desired depth has been reached, the rod is slightly retracted to minimise the vibration influence of the penetration rods. Digital ID The geophone as well as the geophone cone have an electronic data sheet including the serial number. Therefore, the source of measurement data can always be traced. High-performance Besides continuously monitoring the x-, y- and z-direction, the VIBRA also automatically corrects the measurement data for the individual sensitivity of each geophone chael. This guarantees high-quality measurements and performance. Geophone Geophone Cone VIBRA + The VIBRA geophone or geophone cone in combination with the VIBRA+ offers the following extras: Detection of the geophone s inclination, assuring that measurements are carried out with a correctly positioned geophone or geophone cone. Based on data from the electronic data sheet, the VIBRA + not only Technical specifications vibra geophone corrects the sensitivity, but also the Geophone & Geophone Cone Chaels 3 (x-, y-, z-direction) resonance frequency and the quality Sensitivity 23.3 Vs/m factor with the help of digital correction filters. res Resonance frequency (f ) 8 Hz ± 0.5 Hz Output Resistance (R out ) 330 Ohm MEASURING RANGE VIBRA Quality factor (Q) 0.75 Distortion at 18 mm/ s and 12 Hz < 0.2 % f res within tolerance < 15º Sensitivity of the vial 53 arc minutes (R130 mm) 10 2 Max. inclination 5º Electronic datasheet (ID) Serial number; calibration date; sensitivity; f res ; R out ; Q Temperature range (operating) - 20 C to + 60 C Protection rating IP65 according to DIN 40 050/ IEC 529 Moving mass 11 ± 0.5 g (each chael) Extra on VIBRA + Inclination measurement Accessories VIB.00320 Cable reel of 50 m velocity [mm/s] 10 1 10 0 Geophone f = 8 Hz Q = 0.707 DIN 45669-1 calibration point 2 DIN 45669-2 free standing geophone a < 3 m/s and f < 100 Hz Geophone displacement limit 0.8 mm Geophone displacement limit 0.8 mm inclination 5 degrees Vibra vmax = 100 mm/s u max < 0.8 mm 10 0 10 1 10 2 frequency [Hz] Geophone Size Mass Ø 74 mm 0.48 kg Geophone Cone Material 42CrMo4V Density 4500 kg/m 3 Cone diameter Ø 49.5 mm Mass 1.280 kg Screw thread GeoMil standard for CPT tubes VIBRA coector LEMO K Series Cable length 10 m cable
