Research on Natural Gas Dispenser Market in China, 2013-2017 (Sample) Huidian Research Publication Date: Sep 2013

3. Characteristics of China s Natural Gas Dispenser Industry 3.1 Concentration Ratio Fig. 5 Concentration Ratio of Gas Dispenser Industry Chengdu Huaqi Houpu, 39% Chongqing Endurance, Beiji ng Changkong Hangke, 44% other enterprises, 12 % Nanjing New Metallurgy, Beij ing Long March Tianmin, 6% Source: Huidian Research At present, Chengdu Huaqi Houpu Machine Electricity Technology Co., Ltd., Chongqing Endurance Industry Stock Co. Ltd. and Beijing Changkong Hangke Gas Equipment Co., Ltd. are the top three enterprises in domestic gas dispenser industry; the market share of these three enterprises has reached more than 80% of the total market share, of which, Huaqi Houpu s gas station equipments occupied the market share of about 39%. Nanjing New Metallurgy Electric Engineering Co., Ltd. and Beijing Long March Tianmin Hi-tech Co., Ltd. are also the important production enterprises in this industry; the gas dispensers of the above five enterprises occupy more than 88% of the total market share.

8. Future Forecast and Investment Prospect of China s Natural Gas Dispenser Industry 8.2 Forecast of Supply and Demand, 2013-2017 8.2.1 Supply Condition Fig. 26 Output Value Forecast of China s Natural Gas Dispenser Industry, 2013-2017 Source: Huidian Research Natural gas dispenser is an important part of natural gas filling equipments. In recent years, many enterprises (including Chongqing Silian and Beijing Changkong Machinery) have been carrying out reshuffle and expanding production scale with the development of natural gas vehicle and gas station fields. It is estimated that the output value of natural gas dispenser industry will reach about CNY 680 million in 2013 and reach CNY 1.7 billion in 2017. 9. Investment Suggestions and Opinions of Industrial Experts 9.1 Investment Opportunity 9.1.1 Environmental Protection Trend The pollution emission of natural gas vehicles is about 85% less than the emission of gasoline and diesel vehicles, of which, carbon-oxygen emission reduces by about 97%, hydrocarbon emission reduces by 70% to 80%, nitrogen oxides emission reduces by 30% to 40%, suspended particulate matter emission reduces by 40%, and

noise reduces by about 40%; and also, natural gas vehicles will not produce toxic substances such as sulfur, lead and benzene. With the promotion of global environmental protection trend, natural gas industry will be bound to develop rapidly, and natural gas dispenser, a kind of natural gas filling equipment, will usher in more market opportunities. 9.1.2 National Policy Policy for Utilization of Natural Gas has brought LNG and CNG vehicles into encouraging scope, and it also proposed that natural gas filling equipments and the construction should be supported actively. With the increasing of natural gas vehicles and gas stations, gas dispenser industry which is the indispensable supporting facility of gas stations will be bound to benefit from this condition. 9.1.3 Technology As for the technology aspect, the technology innovation system of China s CNG and LNG vehicle industry has been completed basically, some domestic backbone enterprises have developed single-fuel or dual-fuel automobile engines and also equipped with the mass production capability; and also, the domestic high-performance natural gas station complete equipments not only have replaced the imported products completely, but also been exported in batches. 9.1.4 International Market As a kind of natural gas vehicle filling equipment, the demand for natural gas dispenser in global market has been increasing steadily. Especially in the developing countries, the technological level of such products is relatively low, and most of the local enterprises are still in the initial stage, the market is mainly dominated by foreign brands. With the continuous improvement of technological level in China s leading domestic-funded natural gas dispenser enterprises, the products become more mature and show increasingly obvious competitive advantages as for the cost performance aspect in international market; and also, the products have been exported to Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Uzbekistan and other countries.

9.1.5 Market Demand Tab. 28 Gas Station Construction Plan of Some Enterprises in Next Few Years Enterprise Gas station construction plan CNPC CNPC plans to construct 126 LNG stations by the end of Twelfth Five-Year period in three vertical and three horizontal expressway network in Henan province, and construct 122 gas stations in five vertical and three horizontal national and provincial highway network. In addition, the company also plans to construct 720 gas stations in Shandong province during the Twelfth Five-Year period. CNOOC The company plans to construct 1,000 LNG stations before 2015. Sinopec In the end of Twelfth Five-Year period, the gas stations of Sinopec in Xinjiang will reach more than 800 units so as to meet the market demand in Xinjiang province.
