Infinite Campus University Registration Site Information Objectives: Access, Navigation
Infinite Campus University has a registration website that enables our customers to log in and view all of our trainings offered to our customers either by webinar or in person. How to Access ICU You can access the website by going to icu.infinitecampus.com Before you can view published trainings, you will either log in at this point if you have an ICU account or you will be requested to create an ICU account. If you have an existing account but cannot remember your password, click here and your password will be emailed to you. Click on the link to create your account. Fill out the information as shown below and submit. 2
Once your account has been confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email from ICU letting you know you re able to log into the registration site and view published trainings available. Welcome to ICU Hello Jane, Your ICU account info is as follows. Please use it to login to http://icu.infinitecampus.com. Email Address: janedoe@gmail.com Password: campus1 Once logged in you can change your password or account info by going to "My Account" Thank you. You re now ready to log into ICU. Below is a screenshot of how you can navigate to find trainings. In the Delivery dropdown, I ve clicked on WebEx. In the Return, I ve clicked on All. In order to find the trainings by date, I ve clicked on the Date heading and get all webinar offerings by date. Sometimes we offer trainings, user groups, etc. specific to a state. A catalog is created for a specific state and any type of training offered will get published in that catalog. Only those districts who are assigned to that catalog will be able to view the catalog in ICU. Please select the California Catalog in the Event List dropdown. When you see the session you want to take, you can click on the name of the course and read the 3
description of the class. All sessions for the California Spring User Group are free of charge. Once you decide to register for a webinar, click on the Register Now button. This will inform Infinite Campus and they will confirm your registration. Once your registration is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email from ICU. This email will give you all the information you need to access the webinar. ICU Registration Confirmation Notice Hello Jane, Your registration for the following WebEx session has been accepted. Please follow the directions below to join the session. - Topic: AD 1116: Ad Hoc Reporting Basics - Description: This training is demonstrated on the most current version of the Infinite Campus Product and will not have any state specific data or fields. This course will introduce participants to the Ad Hoc Reporting tools used to create meaningful 4
subsets of data. Participants will learn how to create a query of course data matching user-defined criteria, create a static list of students, modify a query created by another user and use a data subset to generate a form letter from a template. Look for more events of interest at http://icu.infinitecampus.com. Cancelling an ICU Registration If you find you will not be able to attend a webinar, please cancel your registration in ICU. You may do so by logging into ICU and in the Main Menu, click on My Events. Click on the name of the webinar you wish to cancel and you ll see this screen. Click the Cancel button and your registration will automatically be cancelled. You will receive a cancellation email message from ICU. 5
Accessing WebEx About 10 minutes before the webinar begins, you can start the access process. In your email confirmation, you will find this information. Click on the link as shown in the example below. 6
After you ve clicked on the link, you should see this screen. Click Join Now. You will be prompted to enter your Registration ID number and session password number. Both numbers are listed in your email confirmation 7
You will see this screen. Once you re in the webinar, you will be asked whether you wish to use your phone or computer to join the audio conference. If you use your computer, be sure you are also equipped with a microphone on your computer so that you can ask questions during the webinar. There is also a chat line available during the 8
training webinar if you do not have microphone capability on your computer. If you wish to use the phone, the suggestion would be to use the dropdown as shown below and click on I will call in you ll then receive the phone number to call You are now in the webinar ready to see the training screen and hear the trainer. Troubleshooting Webinar Tips If you re using WebEx for the first time, you may be asked to install Active X when you initially access the webinar. Follow the prompts given. Make sure you have the administration rights to install this. Sometimes customers get to the Session in Progress screen, it just stays there and does not continue to the next screen. At this point, you may want to exit out of WebEx and try accessing again from the start. Sometimes customers access WebEx in one browser and are not able to get in. Exit out and try entering with a different browser and that may help. Example: you always use Internet Explorer to access the Internet. If that isn t getting you into the webinar, log out and try accessing with a different browser such as Firefox. Still experiencing problems or have any questions?
